Great tour. Bridget was an informative and fun guide. We learn so much about the area. The stops gave us the opportunity to learn about sustainability and the passion of the people we met. In Kurunda, we held a koala. Then we tasted mango wine. The conversation with the Italian lady running the shop about the history of the wine fascinated us. It was definitely a good time!

Amazing day exploring and learning about Kuranda and the surrounding areas. The train and SkyRail provided two unique viewpoints, I highly recommend doing both. Brett was a wonderful guide who ensured we knew where and when to meet him after we were done exploring on our own. Such a unique and engaging tour!

Bridget was a fantastic tour guide, such incredible depth of local and cultural knowledge and very personable. Recommend choosing the package where you can do the cable car on the return trip as the view of the coast is amazing.

What an amazing experience. The best tour I've ever been on anywhere. Outstanding value for money. Brett is an incredible host. A true ambassador for tourism, small businesses and agriculture.
You would not get the same experience if you did the trip independently.
The venue hosts treated us like VIP's. The complimentary food and drinks exceeded our expectations.
There are no issues post cyclone. All roads, venues, etc operating as normal.

A very enjoyable day out. Took all the stress away from having to sort out tickets and sort times, very knowledgeable and relaxed, great views, would really recommend the butterfly sanctuary. Palm cove a beautiful beach to enjoy the view. A great day out

We are so glad that Brett’s Tours was recommended by the lovely Michelle at Macrossan House when we enquired on the day trip to Kuranda. We were picked up from our accommodation- and we travelled in a clean and comfortable tour bus driven by Dale who was absolutely great. He was informative and witty which was delightful as we really knew nothing much about the History of Port Douglas nor the story behind the Railway journey up to Kuranda. Dale was patient and answered everyone’s questions with ease. A huge thank you and well done to Dale. Would we recommend this Tour with Brett’s ? YES! 100% we would to all our family and friends. We had a sensational day catching the skyrail to Kuranda and the train back , finishing with a refreshing cocktail stop at Palm Cove on the journey home. If you're lucky enough to get Dale as your guide , you won't be disappointed. He's such a knowledgeable person and very entertaining. The whole tour ran so smoothly from start to finish, the bus
was clean and comfortable and everything was well explained. We especially appreciated Dale's food recommendations in Kuranda too. Highly recommend Brett's Tours!

Great day out. The driver, Towie, was really knowledgeable and a good host. Both the scenic railway ride up and Skyrail ride down were pleasant experiences.

This tour is a must if you visit this part of the world. We were greeted by Dale who drove us down from Port Douglas giving the most informative and interesting knowledge of the local history. Everything was seem less as Dale had it all covered. The ride up in the cable car was amazing with views to die for. The easy wander around the quiet little village was relaxing, a couple of hours to do your own thing but the highlight of the day for me was the train ride back down. It was like going back in time, such a wonderful experience and again easy as all organised by Dale through Brett’s tours. Highly recommend the gold class on the train, just perfect, our host CI looked after us so well and was a happy friendly soul topping up our drinks along the way. Dale then drove us home stopping off for a cocktail at palm cove. The day was perfect and I could not recommend booking through Brett’s enough, they made it much more enjoyable and took the stress out of organising yourself.

We had a wonderful day on the tour with Brett and had a great group on the Food Tasting tour.
Brett was a lovely man who was informative, very knowledgable, engaging and we could see he was passionate about his work and imparting his great knowledge of the area to everyone.
The lunch was a mixture and really tasty, the cheese selections were great in the afternoon and the distillery amazing.
It was a long day so be prepared for that and the time to the first stop for breakfast was nearly 2 hours however was well explained due to to the vendor they use.
We got to see platypus in the wild in the middle of the day at our lunch stop which was one of the highlights of the day.
My only suggestion for improvement is for the practise of Brett to stop people speaking amongst themselves if he was speaking about anything. He did this to many people on the day including us on more than one occasion publicly asking" sorry am I interrupting your conversation" indicating we were expected to not even speak quietly to one another whenever he was talking.
By his own admission, Brett told us he is "intense" which is very true.
Overall I would recomend this tour as its a great day with great scenery and you get to see so much of the place you wouldn't normal see.

Everything was so beautiful.
From picking up from the hotel with our tour guide and driver Chris, which was amezing with all instructions and lett us know about everything and the whole excursion .
Kuranda, Sky rail, Rain forest ...train and waterfalls such a miracle adventure . Everyone enjoyed until back to hotel. Such a great service maximum enjoyed the day. Bret's kuranda tour is as I heard a local business but with so much great experience and amezing service.

Well as far as bus tours go this was one of the best we’ve been on, Chris with trusty side kick Bosun the purple tailed dog were easy to see in a crowd which was a bonus. We were at our designated activities on time and there was enough time to browse shops and grab a bite to eat at Kuranda village after the train ride and then back down the hill on the cable car with some breath taking scenery, tip take the falls walk at the cable car stops. On the way to and after cocktails at the surf club Chris filled the bus with knowledge and cool music, and even a bit of dancing queen with disco ball lighting to boot. Thanks Chris for a great day.

From the moment we were picked up by our tour guide Chris to the moment we were dropped off at our hotel it was a 5+ Star experience. Amazing rainforest, the sky rail floating us over it, the iconic train taking us back down, unprecedented vistas, interactive VR tour with voice guidance. It was more than just amazing. It’s definitely an Australian icon and must have experience.

Travelled with Brett yesterday from Port Douglas through to Kuranda. WOW What an experience!!!

The day started with misty rain, which meant that low laying cloud was expected. However by the end of the train ride and following journey home, the skies opened and we got a taste of North Queensland wet season. The weather had little impact on our day though as Brett ensured we had everything we needed, the day went smoothly and that we had a fantastic, fun and informative commentary.

The Kuranda Skyrail & train was a great trip only made better by Brett.
I had originally planned to organise a bus from Port Douglas to the Skyrail depot, but on the advice of my resort concierge I booked the tour through Brett’s Kuranda Day Tours. Not only was it cheaper to do the tour this way but it made the day a highlight of my holiday!! Thanks Brett (Kim from Tassie)

This was by far the best tour/experience we had whilst in Port Douglas for 7 days. Brett is very knowledgeable of all the areas we travelled through, has lots of fun facts and provides entertaining commentary throughout the bus rides. Brett makes you feel like you’re chatting to a life long friend, his funny personality and caring demeanour made for a great trip. The views on the way up to and down from Kuranda are just breathtaking and something that definitely has to be seen with your own eyes because, photos just do not do it justice. The train ride is a comfortable ride with commentary throughout so you can learn about how the track was built whereas the sky rail is silent allowing you to take in the incredible views and listen to the sounds of nature.
Overall I couldn’t recommend this trip enough, not only does Brett pick you up and drop you off to your accommodation but he also provides a personal touch on the travel home… but you’ll have to take the trip yourself if you want to find out what it is.

The whole team at Brett's Kuranda Day Tours, were a pleasure, from booking with Andrea and Leone to the very end of the tour we experienced with Chris.
This was my second tour but with our children this time.
Loved the very informative tour with Chris. Very friendly and had loads of laughs.

We had a wonderful experience today on our tour. Dale was a fantastic tour guide, extremely friendly and very knowledgeable!
We had a member of our group that was in a wheelchair as well as a small child and the team went above and beyond to accommodate us.
We highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Port Douglas.

Tour managed well to still operate/plan in post flooding conditions... We enjoyed our time in the air-conditioned Van with Brett's stories (and theories!) while passing their new route to the sky rail. Tour took us to Cairn's must see sky rail and Kuranda village in time to explore everything. Highly recommended 🙂 thanks team Brett!

The most amazing day we have had while in Port Douglas:-
Let me explain why
1. Great communication at every touch point while booking and confirming, both via phone and email made it EASY
2. Punctual at every point of pickup and departure.
3. Spotlessly clean bus, windows sparkingly clean. Mechanically first class, almost new tyres noted.
4. Good driver
5. PORT DOUGLAS based rather than Cairns pickup and departure.
The excellent things:-
1. Driver/ your guide Chris is simply an amazing character who has the most comprehensive knowledge of everything you could want to know.
2. Great personality and sense of humour.
3. Polite, understanding, respectful.
4. Organised, counted people on and off every time
5. On hand at each stop if you need any assistance.
The day:-
1. The Kuranda railway is indescribably and stunningly beautiful.
2. Kuranda township is definitely a good stop, we found great coffee and food and lush cooler surroundings. Being older we found the hippie themed market and were transported back 55 years, such notalgia LOL
3. The Skyway is simply amazing, well run and views of the canopy and area are out of this world.
4. Stop in Palm Cove for refreshments was a welcome stop to recap on the day and view the beachfront.
I cannot say enough good things or recommend Brett's enough. This is the one to go with

A trip on the Kuranda train and Skyrail was a highlight of our holiday to FNQ. Dale our driver and tour leader was a capable operator today. Dale was efficient, friendly and personable. His anecdotes on the way to Cairns were enjoyed by all the passengers onboard. His knowledge of the local area shone as his stories showed a true appreciation of the area and a passion his work. We would highly recommend this company for any tour requirements in this region.
