Thredbo is a walking, hiking, mountain biking haven in summer. Summer downpours end in valley-spanning rainbows. We saw a couple of emus on the way in and wallabies in Thredbo, but no wombats - so far. Tomorrow we'll hike up towards Kosciusko where there are still patches of snow on the ground.
