I was surprised by the quality also the portion!
We were five people so we got the family pack which I assumed it’s for 4 people and a single pack but the family pack was more than enough for 5
Very tasty but they didn’t give us any sauce with fish and chips

I do love Mary's and have been going here for years. The service is always friendly, never an issue with it anyone that works there.
Very good value for a fish & chip shop.
Lately I have been deciding not to visit as often as I used to because the chips are missing the salt on a consistent basis. Minor detail but kind of a big deal when you drive a 30 minute round trip just to have them. And who wants chips without chicken salt? Not me. 🤌
I'll still come order every now & then but just not regularly as the missing salt has happened far too many times 😊

After eating at Mary’s seafood, I will no longer be accepting burgers with less than an entire cup of gravy on them, after having seen first hand the amazing flavour success that can be achieved with large quantities of gravy. I’d give it 6 stars if Google let me.

Fantastic local burger shop. I believe it has been in the area forever and it shows with lines that happen at lunch and dinner. I have sampled many burgers and recommend the volcano 🌋 burger or the black wood burger.
All I can say is ask for a bag of chicken salt as they don't seem to put on chips .
Update of review a year later still best place in mitchelton but need to change the brand of chicken salt

Fantastic, good value for money and reliable local fish and chips, have been coming here for years. They can get busy (long wait times) in the evenings so plan ahead.

Absolutely amazing service and the food is best everytime. Have been coming here for the last 10 years and have never had a bad meal. The staff are friendly, the service great and food 👌🏻

Delicious bbq onion ring burger, great calamiri and grilled barramundi fillet. All really well prepped good flavours simple and delicious. Fat beef pattie on the burger.

Mary's Seafood has the best, cleanest burgers in Brisbane. So affordable and delicious. I've tried 3 in the last week and loved them. Top quality 👌 So much better than those franchise overrated burger joints. I've been a chef for 30 yrs and know quality when I taste it. 😋 So good. Chips are on point too, even after delivery. Awesome work.

This is an ideal hang over food super greasy and chicken salt for days. Potato scallops reminded me of my child hood and was very reasonably priced. The photo is of the seafood for two

Burgers at Mary's are delicious, filling and a great price. If you want an ole school burger, that tastes like a good burger should, do yourself a favour and grab a few burgers from Mary's on Blackwood St, we got chips as well. So good!

I've been watching a lot of "F**k that's Delicious" on Viceland lately with my girlfriend. Last night we saw an episode that had Action Bronson eating Seafood. This instantly made my girlfriend hungry for Seafood, so we looked for a place nearby on Google Maps. After seeing the reviews, we thought we should give this place a try.

Was really happy with how quickly the food was prepared. I weigh roughly 300kg, so you can imagine the amount of food we ordered. It was out in 5 minutes!! Outstanding. Very impressive. The staff working were friendly and approachable. I feel like I could trust these people even though I just met them.

The price of food here is extremely fair. You get more than what you pay for and the Poutine chips were simply delicious.

I will be returning here then next time we feel the cravings for Seafood. 5 Stars.

Consistently good hot chips with the perfect amount of salt. Friendly owners and always only about 10 minutes if you phone ahead. Delicious everytime!! In my top 2 in all of Brisbane!

The only place I get my fish and chips in Brissy! This used to be my local but since moving I will gladly drive 20-30 minutes just to get my usual order.

Been after a great steak sandwich for a long time, the bars and taverns don't often do good one anymore.

Walked by and got one from Mary's, it was amazing so good I didn't get pictures. Once started I couldn't stop 😅.

If you get a hankering for take away, this place can't be beaten. Especially by big franchised establishments.

Holey moley. Best fish and chips store I've ever been to and I used to live by the beach for 10 years. Never had a bad chip from here, if it was healthy I would eat lunch and dinner from here everyday if I could. Mary is a lovely woman and remembers my name when I call and also visit the store. Best value for your money too, most chip shops jib you on the serving size, but not Mary :D

The food is skillfully cooked and arrives crispy fresh for you to take away. Calamari is cooked to tenderness, not lacca bands like most places and the chick schnitz are crisp and not greasy. Place draws a crowd on Friday night's.

Always loved everything about this place: the staff are great, the service is fast and with a smile, the food is excellent and well priced. Oh and did I mention, the best chips I have ever had in Brisbane?

My partner and I love Mary's! Fish and chips are great and there selection of burgers is a nice touch whilst also being tasty. Super friendly service, great local place.
