Treasury Casino and Hotel Brisbane

Took a visiting business colleague for breakfast at LAB. Service was great. Food was excellent. Coffee was hot and I just love the old worldly charm of the place. I feel as though I'm in a luxurious and charming early to mid 1900's Vienna hotel. High ceilings,thick walls and dark wood panelling. Some beautiful old hotels like this in Germany too. An elegance we seem to be missing being such a young country. Only my opinion and some may not agree with me and that is allowed.

What a great experience we had at the Treasury Hotel. We managed to get a great deal online for the weekend, and included parking, breakfast and $50 off our meals at night that we had at the Black Hide and The Fat Noodle over at the Casino.

Every staff member was professional, friendly and helpful, and their attention to detail for our anniversary was really appreciated. We have mentioned our anniversary a few times before at different venues, but there was never any recognition of the moment. We were given a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, and our dinner reservation at the Black Hide was also acknowledged with the best seat in the house and complimentary dessert. Then each breakfast we were made to feel a little special as well. Not that we were expecting all of that, but it makes a difference to your stay when it happens.

The rooms were a decent size for 2 people but felt a lot larger due to the high ceilings. It would have been nice to be able to open the door onto the verandah for some fresh air and to be able to appreciate the view outside more, but I guess they are locked for safety reasons. The facilities in the room were pretty good and what you would expect for the price. The bed was really comfortable too. Some areas looked a little tired, perhaps just due to the age of the building, but overall the hotel was very clean, with housekeeping doing a great job in our room.

There was a real sense of nostalgia wandering the hallways and you could imagine what it was like in times past, as they've done a great job of keeping many of the original features and character of the building.

Despite all the construction going on with the new casino, we didn't hear any noise. This might be different though during the week or if you have a room on the eastern side or southern side.

The location is probably one of the best in the city, in my opinion. South Bank is easily accessible, the Botanic gardens are a short walk away, and it's 5 minutes to the mall.

Overall, we had a great experience here and will definitely go back. I'd highly recommend staying here.

As you look at the old building from the outside and the surroundings, it seems almost out of place. Inside also has an old school charm as i wonder if the lift will work or should I just take the stairs. The room is big, and the ceiling is high. I sink into the soft king bed with pillows full of clouds and snuggle into the blanket with the air-conditioning on. I fill up the bathtub with bubbles. As i sip on a glass of champagne. In this room, the windows are on the inside, so there is no view.
I give 5 stars to the night manager, who i think his name is Joe. For being very polite as i turned up late from a stressful day travelling.
Overall the staff were nice. Location is easy to walk to places or catch public transport. Parking was not hard to find.

What an outstandingly high class property without the high end prices. Highly recommend to anyone who likes to enjoy the finer things in life, without the hefty, often out if reach price tag all conveniently located within walking distance of quality shopping stores as well as grocery and convenience stores. Public transport as well as e-scooters and e-bikes are also extremely conveniently located around the premises. Go and check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed

I stayed in the Hotel Building, the old Lands Administration Building, where I had once worked a few decades ago. I treated myself for my birthday. The service was impeccable, and my room was delightful. I didn't need to go anywhere other than to dinner at the Casino and breakfast at The Lab. I soaked in the big bath tub and swanned around in my white robe. I'm going to have to do this all over again.

I am a certified baby sitter based at Brisbane CBD and I would have been here for baby sitting works. I am blessed got some clients from here.

Excellent. The service was amaizing they helped us take our luggage up and down l. We spent 5 nights here for our honeymoon because we love the city so much. They gave us beautiful service every day and I can't thank them enough. I love the casino it's so elegant 😍 10 out of 10 stars for everything. Definitely coming back

I love spending time at the casino as the food is fresh and reasonably priced. The casino has many restaurants so the choice is unlimited. We have long walks around the city looking at the sights.

Wonderful old world architecture, with modern conveniences. The woodwork and high ceilings made me very nostalgic. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed my time there. I did not stay in their accommodation, but I'm thinking I'd like to. I look forward to going back and trying all the restaurants as well.

The Treasury Hotel is everything I expect but rarely find in an Australian hotel. Housed in an imposing restored heritage building, the hotel and neighbouring casino are conveniently located in central Brisbane. Check-in and check-out were efficient and the staff charming. Our king suite was magnificent in decor and proportions. The room service breakfast was delivered promptly and was good. We loved The Treasury Hotel and look forward to staying again on our next trip to Brisbane. Thank you for your hospitality.

For the second year spent Christmas Day at the Treasury hotel. Exceptional buffet, staff were amazing and the young man singing and playing guitar on our room was so good. Thank you all for the best day really enjoyed it.

Alex in the dining area had the best customer service I have seen in a long time. He was quick, attentive, kind, funny and was genuinely enjoying giving the best service possible. He made the trip to the casino for a late night dinner absolutely worth it.

Loved staying in this heritage hotel. It was like stepping back in time with the size of the rooms, marble bathrooms and amazing service from the staff who seemed to genuinely love working in this amazing building and providing top quality service.
I was shocked to learn that they have planned to close this beauty when the new casino opens 😞

My husband and I stayed there for 1 night. Great experience and awesome service. They gave us $50 credit for dinner at any restaurant in the casino and free breakfast.

It's an old place, but I know why it's still loved. They manage really hard and the staff are really professional. It's always a reliable place to go. It is comfortable, pleasant, and safe. There's no way I need more.

Service is super amazing! Not only did they upgrade us to a crazy big suite for free on our anniversary (My Missus loved it). The awesome manager also went out of his way to solve an issue we had with the restaurant in regards to some confusion regarding our spring package credit that came included with the booking

Treasury Casino is a great place to chill. There are restaurants to eat. In here, if you have casino membership, you get a discount as well. There are a few great bars in here. It's great to go and watch sports. Lastly, games you can play, or bet on. Try it out.

Alex s was outstanding, such great manners and really great attitude, would be back to the kitchen in hopes to get served by Alex again as he made the experience fun and exciting. Thanks Alex was great to meet you!

Quite extraordinary.
