My mum and I loved the Fairy Tales exhibition. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Exhibits were engaging and facilities were clean and accessible.
I would’ve loved to have purchased something from the gift shop for my kids but found everything pretty expensive. A lovely collection of items inspired and front the exhibition though.

It's well facilitate Art gallery. I love to visit it every few months just to see what is new and some of these art works are really impressive. Here are some art work from currently exhibition: Fairy Tales.

Yesterday I check out the Fairy Tales Exhibition and I had an amazing time there. I especial love the Labyrinth, Mirror Mirror & Alice in Wonderland exhibitions.

And hope GOMA might do more movies or tv series displays in the near future. Maybe do a Bridgerton display with the costumes and props from the tv series. I would love to see that at the Gallery later on. Thanks everyone!

Incredible art gallery. In genera, art galleries are among the best things that Australia has to offer. But the Brisbane Gallery of Modern Art is exceptional. As usual, some exhibitions are not resonating with me - in this case, Michael Zavros' "The Favourite" did not at all. Gimicky. The other one, eX de Medici's "Beautiful Wickedness" was absolutely stunning, both visually and topical.

It's such a nice museum with very beautiful layouts, and the exhibition is so well presented with good commentary and background of the artwork. It's very quiet and there are staff walking around to make sure everything is well organised. There's also a little gift shop, toilets and cloak room at the entrance. The best thing is that it's free!

Beautiful gallery, staff are very efficient and kind. Buy tickets online ahead of time to beat the queues during school holidays.

Fairy Tales was stunning because of the forest at the start and the dresses. Seemed a little shorter than other exhibits i have been to (took us about 20mins). Unexpected and unusual combination of art installations (Donkeyskin, Alice, Mirror Mirror, Beauty & the Beast). Due to school holidays, lots of line ups inside. Go towards the end of the day, if you want to take some extraordinary pictures in the forest.

Love going here. So many artworks to look at. Great art gift shop. Fairy Tales in art and film exhibition was great.

A great gallery. We saw the Fairy Tale exhibition which was awesome. Totally loved it. Toilets accessible and clean.

Would recommend a visit here! It’s free for public entry however some of the experiences are ticketed. Really interesting and insightful

Visited for Fairytales Exhibit - highly recommend. The whole gallery was easy to navigate. Love the cinema elements.

Large gallery with lots to see and do. Really enjoyed the Fairytales exhibit. Ended aburotef but so much attention to detail and a feast for the senses. Lots of people had the same idea and the crowds took away from the experience but can’t blame them for being there! Suggest session times or similar but a brilliant day all the same.
Also attached cinema showing classics which I’ll have to come back to in the future.

Mainly visited the fairy tales exhibition. It was a bit busy due to school holidays. The exhibition was good, if you are into fairy tales movies.

Absolutely stunning!! My daughters loved the Fairytales exhibition. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Just wish it wasn't so busy. Can't change that on Christmas holidays though.

We bought tickets for the exhibitions on display eX De Medici and Michael Zavros which were both excellent. The gallery spaces are fantastic, modern, spacious and easy to navigate. The staff were very helpful. There is a cloak room, an excellent cafe, and a shop on site. There was only one other free exhibition which was a little disappointing but such is life.

Always good to visit. Interesting exhibits. the Jim Henson series the storyteller running on loop in he cinema was great.

Always a great way to immerse yourself in art. We visited the Fairy Tales exhibit pre Christmas and found the experience incredible.

I went to see the AIR exhibition on a lazy Wednesday. The exhibition celebrates and acknowledges the invisible air we all breathe and that it is something we all share and need. At the venue, the staff greeted me with a smile and were very courteous and helpful. It was easy to navigate to the ticket office inside and I purchased an adult ticket which was priced fairly for the exhibition. Several different artists contributed to the exhibition and the works are displayed in different rooms, creating a different thought provoking experience as I ventured through the exhibition. If you are in the area and looking to escape the heat of the day I'd recommend visiting GOMA.

Went to my first paid exhibition the other day- 'Fairy Tales'. There was certainly a lot to see and experience, and I really enjoyed it. It is darker in theme than I expected overall, but still great. GOMA is always a fun place to build into a day out in Brisbane!

We had a great afternoon here. Very well curated. Some items were surprising and some not so. It's quite conservative but maybe that's more about Brisbane. Beautiful space. Good way to spend a few hours.
