Cafe Connect

I work in Glenorchy and regularly pop in to Cafe connect for lunch and/ or a coffee. The manager is lovely, knows everyone by name and makes, without doubt the best long blacks in Hobart. And there is always very decent REAL music (not loud) playing as opposed to the canned pop covers being churned out everywhere these days. Anything from JJ Cale to Mazzy Star. Open plan and not too crowded Cafe Connect is a great lunch spot, tucked in round the back of the community transport hub that gets you off the main drag, easy parking and quick service with a community friendly atmosphere . The food is simple, thoughtfully prepared and varied. A great selection of freshly toasted panins or wraps with home made pestos and some mouth watering sweet treats. By far the best deal and tastiest food and coffee in Glenorchy.

Hidden gem in the old Glenorchy RSL building, supporting a not for profit Community transport organisation in the same building. Friendly staff, great range of sweet & savoury items, lovely environment and not too far from the Glenorchy shopping district. Definitely worth checking out 🤩

This place is one of Hobart’s hidden gems! Serving up deliciously fresh food, along with outstanding coffee that is always brewed to perfection. It’s perfect if you need to grab a quick caffeine fix and bite to eat when you’re on the run. Or, alternatively, if you’re wanting to dine in, this cafe is beautiful and spacious (not overcrowded l and crammed like some places!) so you can relax, unwind, read the paper and listen to some great music while you enjoy your tasty goodies. I love coming here with my girlfriends because we can enjoy catching up without feeling rushed (and without having to yell over the annoying background noice that’s prevalent in a lot of cafes today), plus the food and coffee is consistently excellent, seriously it never disappoints… AND it is ridiculously good value for money - none of those overpriced $7 coffees here people! Highly recommend 😊

This is a great Cafe, which supports a great cause - feeding back to a not-for-profit charity. The coffee is always consistently good, and I can't go past a toasted sandwich! It's friendly and fun with a stunning view of the mountain. A lovely place to meet a friend for lunch!

Absolutely a must stop spot for coffee! I come in daily to get coffee, Phil and his team don’t even mind my confusing coffee order! In fact - I am such a regular they don’t even ask what my order is! I love there is a loyalty card for coffee and the food is super delicious and always fresh.

Phil has the best coffee in Tasmania - if I could award him more than 5 stars, I would. Haven't ever experienced such good, genuine service from a cafe either - it's the whole package.
