Great place,lots to look at. I bought more than I wanted to. 5 balls of 8Ply Cotton Yarn to Crochet tops on hand towels. Beautiful colours to choose from and only $2.85 each. Hand Towels were 2 for $6!!

I considered giving less than 5 stars just because of the fact that my bank account takes a beating whenever I go into Spotlight. But honestly, the Derwent Park store is fantastic. I have always been served by great staff. I always get our kids birthday balloon bouquets from Spotlight, and several times I have been trying to decide what options to chose, and the staff member has helped or given an idea I hadn't thought of but worked well.
I love how the store is laid out. It seems to flow from one department to the next, and everything is clearly signed.
They have a HUGE range of products and so many specials (especially when you're a VIP member), which is why I always manage to overspend.

Been to a number of Spotlights on the mainland but this one takes the cake. One of the largest? So well presented and tidy - not like some. And in Tassie tradition, great helpful courteous staff. Plenty of parking. Great range. Great staff. What more could you ask for?

Being an expat I found this store to cater for all of my household needs and more. I wish I had found it when we first arrived in Dec 2033 I would have done all of my decorating from here. Lovely story with an amazing variety of goods. Loved it.

Although they didn't have what l was looking for, it was certainly an eye opener to see what was available here. I can't wait to go back and have a long, leisurely walk around.
Make sure you allow yourselves a couple of hours, you will certainly need it.

Good staff especially kylie, she was really so helpful. When we went there it was closing time but Kylie patiently stayed with us and did the things for us.

Great variety of merchandise for every room in your home. Large section of materials, patterns and accessories for dressmakers, artists and craft work. Well set out and easy to manoeuvre around the shop. Pleasant staff and reasonable prices.

There's no other shop that carries such a wide range of bed linen, towels, and decorative items such as floor rugs for the home.
There is also an area with kitchen pots and pans, utensils and serving ware.
My grandchildren love the hobby and craft area too.
There are very few shops that now stock items for knitting and sewing including reasonably priced fabrics, threads and patterns.
So a great outing for young and old where you can find all of things you didn't even realize you needed!
Staff overall are helpful and cheerful.
Their online catalogues are great but there's nothing a trip to the shop,!

My mother and I just had the most wonderful service at Spotlight Glenorchy. Shout out to Tamara and Katie who were wonderfully helpful and went above and beyond in their service.

Jo in curtains was the best example of customer service and care I've experienced for YEARS!!! Straight to the point in giving me best advice and price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I'm happy that it is not in Hobart town anymore and I can take my time without worrying about parking.

Very well stocked store. Parking is a breeze and its surrounded by other flagship superstores to entertain the whole family. Great service here.

Once again another excellent shopping experience at spotlight. I was a total pain, I had lots of different size pieces of lace valance needing to be cut, the lady at the curtian cutting counter was absolutely lovely!

Great place to go for affordable, yet quality, bedding - sheets, duvet covers and pillows. Plenty to choose from.
