Woke up early to catch a glance of the breath taking Sorrento sunrise, this is what we were privileged to. A beautiful spot with no one around, maybe the cold wind has kept everyone else in bed. Witnessing the ferry crossing to Queenscliff Geelong. Not recommended as a swim beach as there is a sudden drop in the sand.

A glorious walk along the Portsea beach and some of Australia’s most amazing homes. I like to play “if I had $30M, I’d buy THAT one!

Nice short walk, amazing views of the bay, hidden beaches and illegal/ controversial marinas 🤣. We went at 6:30 am to watch the sunrise and beat the crowds. Beautiful houses, heritage and new ones. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

A lovely walk. We parked half way down Point King Rd, then did a clockwise walk towards Point King then along the top of the escarpment, right into Lentell, right onto Point Nepean Rd and right into Point King Rd.
The section along the escarpment was the highlight. Joking with my wife, we called it a ‘Gated Community’ - with all the gates unlocked !😀. Stick to the path as you pass through some private properties. Beautiful homes. We were the only ones on the walk.

A very pleasant walk with some stunning sea views. Very limited parking spaces and definitely do this walk earlier in the morning with good weather. The walk is about 30 minutes depending on the route(s) you take, and dogs are allowed to join you on leash too. There's some stunning houses and lots to see on the trail.

What a beautiful pocket of coastline in Sorrento. The walk was MUCH shorter than I had anticipated. However, it was spectacular, and I would highly recommend anybody that is able to do so to check it out.

A lovely public walk squeezed between private beaches and private villas. On some stretches you'll be walking through front yards. And at one end, the location where a junior British officer raised the union jack to claim possession of the area for the British king.

While this section of the Bay Walking Trail may be named after the expensive residential real estate, the real attraction is the views and beautiful bays. An undulating and narrow path that follows the tops of the cliffs with a number of gates separating sections fo the walk. Limited carparking available off Point Nepean Road.

A nice place to stroll through while taking in the beautiful views of the millionaire's jetties and houses. It felt as if I was intruding into their backyards but some of the families were out when I visited. They are lovely people and don't mind you admiring their possessions I guess.

Really cool walk along the path on the cliff next to all the rich peoples houses. The rich people here tried to pretend this was private property so they could have this path all to themselves but the council opened it up as public property so it’s a path for the public. Good views and some nice houses too.

Lovely walk. Not a lot a car parking spots but on a quiet day there are plenty next to the start of the walk.
Views are amazing. Do this walk on a clear day to properly appreciate the scenery.
Wear appropriate shoes for this hike as there are plenty of roots and rocks to stub your toes on if you wear thongs like I did.
Beaches are close too if you feel like a swim after working up a sweat on this stunner of a walk.
Recommended walk for all ages.

It's perfect for romantic walk. For start conversations to build the future...
It's make body Nd mind relax some sea breeze smell of nature combination of sun light and tree shadow...
Soft sands...

Marvel in the majesty of the unspoilt coastline. Big houses that make you dream of working that little bit harder! A must if you are in Sorrento and want to stretch your pins! And why not head to the Sorrento hotel for a well deserved sundowner. The little strip of shops in Sorrento main road are also worth a visit. Good spots for a cup of tea and 🍰About an hour and 10 minutes from central Melbourne in good traffic. Worth driving down the coastal route if you have time to kill - vs taking the freeway which is quicker but a little soulless.

Lovely short walk along the clifftops with amazing views of the bay and lovely homes which covers part of the Sorrento artists trail.
It is much easier to find from Point King Road as the start of the trail is obvious from this end. If starting from Lentell Avenue look for a gate in the fence marked with a Mornington shire dogs must be kept on a leash sign.

A nice walk past some beautiful homes on one side and a the bay on the other side. Generally an easy walk with a number of gates along the way to open/close. Plenty of other tracks back to Point Nepean Rd for those not wanting to walk back along the track. Point Nepean Rd has a sealed path running parallel to the main road.
