Amazing place. So much to explore and right on the seaside. The last at the information desk was incredible helpful and friendly and same with the girl in the little coffee kiosk.

Definitely to be a day trip out. Don’t rush to enjoy the place. Lots to see with a lot of walking. Comfy shoes and a hat, sunblock for a hot day and bottle of water. Toilets are found at some stops which is great. Pack a couple of snack choco bars if you are going to be there for more than a few hours…pack a picnic if you are coming with family.

Not really a person that is into historical stuff, but it was actually really interesting to visit this place. I do like the fact that things have been left as it was and not been restored or altered. Worth the visit.

We visited th Quarantine Station as part of our Nepean National park trail walk. Large and slightly eerie historic area with many parts of the station accessible, and with displays and interpretive boards. From here coast and bush walks are available to the Nepean Forts. There is a large carpark and shuttle bus pick up and drop off area.

Lovingly restored by the hard work of parks staff and it's army of volunteers the QS is remarkably in amazing condition showing off Australia's early history in great detail.

Not only is the site great for history buffs but it also is has Fantastic facilities for family or small gatherings with park benches, tables, BBQs, shelter and toilets on site with plenty of parking.

Didn't get the time to visit the buildings here but the place was great. It's a vast expanse connected to the beach with a lot of green and old buildings. There's a good seating place for family barbecue. There's plenty of parking also available here. You can drive almost upto the main attraction here. Highly recommended when visiting Point Nepean.

There is so much space here. And so much history. You could easily spend three days just exploring all the aspects of the park.

My School Alwyns Photo School Melbourne runs classes here several times a year. We were here in September and had an amazing time. There is a magic to the quarantine station and we got some great photos. There was also a market on that day that added to the fun.

This place felt very peaceful and tranquil, a place where you can't help but to take a quiet moment to reflect upon some of the lives and how the people must have lived after reading some of the stories and history.
Contemplating how harsh and hard living under such conditions leaves one feeling very nostalgic.
There really is a prescence felt here.
Not so much of an eeriness but more of mysticism .

A place worth the drive from Melbourne. But get in early for the carpark as you'll need a full day to explore the whole area. Bikes for hire too. Hundreds of information signs everywhere to read up on the history of the area!

We went and visited the quarantine station which has so much history to it. You can enter a few buildings and there is some information about the history of the site but the site is undergoing some upgrades that will be fantastic.
There is so beach access with beautiful views.
