Wonderful space to experience with children. See them delight and explore the interactive activities set up for the Thomas and friends.

One of those places you take the kids for the weekend when they have Thomas the tank engine running or some other special event

What an awesome experience the Q train is. A slow meandering trip in the old train with possibly the best food and drinks I've had. The staff are friendly and eager to please as well.
Highly recommend anyone to treat themselves to the top level degustation experience and be waited on hand and foot.

Great day trip for the kids. Book tickets in advance, parking may be tight so arrive 15 mins before your main train ride. You'll probably spend 3 hours here if you visit all sections

The Blues Train was really good. 4 carriges, 4 different groups/acts to keep you entertained. Food and drink made the ride even better.

Went on the Q-Train dining experience on Saturday with the wife. A six-course degustation course over three hours as the converted steam train meanders from Drysdale to Queenscliff station and back. Food was exquisite as was the service and entire journey.

Went for the Thomas train experience which is twice maybe three times a year. Quite a range of things to do on the event, and cost about $130 for a family of five. Buy train ride tickets in advance.

Went with my daughter and grandson’s (2 1/2 and 10 weeks) to ride Thomas the Tank engine. Amazing experience on the steam locomotive. The kids absolute loved it as did we. Highly recommend to take the young ones as there is so many extras to do for a morning or afternoon out. 10 out of 10 👍

A wonderful day out, passing by some beautiful countryside and the spectacular Swan Bay. The Q Train trundled along at a lovely speed and the food, both vegetarian and mainstream was yummy. The service was exemplary - friendly, helpful and efficient. We would definitely do it again and highly recommend it. 👍❤

This is a first class experience - rather short but very sweet. We didn't have any children with us, but it's certainly most appropriate for adults! The views of Swan Bay are fantastic and we spotted some great bird life along the way, including swans(!), pelicans, ducks, herons and a whole raft of other birds. The train itself is fantastic and it's a perfect way to see what wetlands and Swan Bay have to offer.

Steam train is a relic of the past, but it is really fun to ride on.
I was there on Sunday, where a market coincidentally was bustling with activity at the station. The atmosphere was wonderful and the volunteers at the railway were great.
The train ride was scenic, you should sit next to the windows towards the water, the other side was mostly bushes and road.
You should bring water and sun screen as there's no modern luxuries such as air conditioning on the steam train.

This is worth a visit with your little ones. Old steam train and carriages are an experience. Had an appearance from the Big Controller plus a little fire engine. I'd say kids 7 and under would enjoy
