This is the place for food and coffee when in Sorrento.
Forfet the main street, as it is a place to avoid. Hard to park, overpriced menu's, they think they are in Toorak.
Unlike all the pseudo cafes in the main street, Koonya General Store has a huge range, and everything there is fresh and reasonably priced.
Minimal waiting time and very friendly staff.
It is a well-kept secret.

Ah the regular shop for all the tradies needs. Talk about a friendly and welcoming shop! Always pleasant and makes you feel special when they greet you. Good store with a wide range of hot foods to be sure to feed even the hungriest kids. Really reasonably priced and all the food I have had has always been delicious. Would recommend the Koonya store over al other stores for a quick, cheap and tasty lunch/breakfast.

Great selection of takeaway food and home-style meals. Their Nana's Salad, Thai Green Curry, Zucchini Slice, Lasagna etc are delicious!! Saves me cooking when I work on weekends. Dynamic, friendly staff. Best General Store around by far.

Overall, arguably the best one stop lunch spot this end of the peninsula!! Great coffee, fresh food , friendly service AND THE BEST POTATO CAKES down this way , the sangas are elite too !!

My kids and I love this store, when we head out for a beach day, we always stop for lunch and grab some cooked yummies. Be prepared to queue, but don't stress, the line moves fast they have plenty of staff and a good system for moving through the busy lunch line.

5 stars for a genuine classic Aussie beachside general store that gets it right with fresh veggie wraps, salads, and comfort food, a mini mart style, the staff are always fun, young and local types. This is totally authentic Australiana.
