More suited to the middle age & above, older, slow & peaceful mood here

Hadley's & The Orient Bar are a wonderful slice of Tasmanian history.

We had a late dinner in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sharing an entree of Pepper Mushrooms then followed by a perfectly cooked Cape Grim steak and a Beef Ravioli plus excellent Tasmanian Pinot, all made for a sumptuous late dinner.

I highly recommend the Cucumber Icecream.

Yet it was the service that was a highlight. Ryan and David were great waitstaff being friendly and helpful, especially with wine recommendations.

The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and has that old world charm as well as some significant history.

Looking forward to returning.

I loved it! Bar service is very friendly. They explained to me and showed me they wide variety of gins and whiskys. I decided on a gin, it was amazing, delicious. Price is worth it. You must try 🥃 👌🏻.

Fabulous setting for a fabulously delicious meal. Staff very professional and friendly. Setting reminds me of the 40’s to 50’s. So beautiful. Would highly recommend the Tasmania Salmon with grilled asparagus and crispy potatoes

We had cocktails here every night in Hobart. They know their Tasman liquor.

Really nice, quaint and private. Drinks were great, service was impeccable. Shame it closes at 10pm, would stay much longer for quiet drinks.
