I've never been to Hobart, and had no clue where to go to arrange a gift for a friend who was performing at the Theatre Royal. Rather than do the usual flowers for Opening night, I chose to send her wine. I'm so happy I stumbled upon Hop Vine & Still. As I was checking them out online, I sent a message to them asking about delivery - and got a reply immediately (from Andrew, a real life person, not a bot). They delivered the wine beautifully to the theatre, on time, without a hitch. I'm sorry I don't have a photo - my friend did take one - but they took the extra effort to make them look special. She was so appreciative (and it was a nice change from a dressing room full of flowers). Highly recommend based on this experience. Thanks Andrew!

Fantastic selection, especially of local Tasmanian wine, spirits and beer. Staff really know their drink, and probably the best bottle shop in Hobart. Visit here first before you go anywhere else - period.

What a great little find in Hobart. Comprehensive range of wines from different regions and very knowledgeable in his wine selection. Check the closing time as they are not open late but definitely worth a visit for a quality bottle.

I’m a regular visitor to Hop Vine & Still. They have a huge selection of craft beers from local and Australian breweries that is constantly updated with seasonal and interesting options.

Andrew and the team are very knowledgeable and always make great recommendations for matching wine, beer, whisky or other drinks with food or events.

Actually planning on visiting there today to grab some beers for the fridge!

Was in a panic about organising a present for a friend from afar without much time. Very pleased to have found Hop Vine & Still! They made up a lovely little card and delivered on the requested day with plenty of updates.

Love the support this business gives to LOCAL brewers and vineyards. In particular I love the 6 pack boxes of random local beers so you can try a whole heap of local beers. Wish there were more places like this - these guys are the leaders in new age bottle shops!!!!

An amazing range of craft beer on offer, along with wine and spirits. Excellent service from Andrew, this is now my go to bottle shop when looking to buy craft beers, or a special bottle of wine or spirits.
