Alpenhorn Lodge

If I could give more stars I would! From start to finish our experience there was wonderful! Their service is exceptional and they are definitely the most friendly lodge EVER! I cannot express how much i appreciate everything they have done for us. Down to the minor details. Breakfast was simple but amazing!!! Thank you so much for your service Alpenhorn! Thank you Jacob you rockstar and thank you to the lady (owner?) I'm so sorry I didn't get her name. She was amazing too!

Exceptional service from all staff. Special thanks to Jacob, Josh and Sharon. Lovely breakfast, thanks Chef! Clean, tidy and friendly atmosphere. Recommend staying at Alpenhorn when in Thredbo and would definitely stay again.

We booked here for 2021 during the ski season to take our children to experience the snow for the first time. Before booking we checked what would happen if Sydney locked down or Thredbo locked down. We were told in writing that we would be able to move our booking if Sydney locked down or would be refunded if Thredbo did. When in fact all these things happened we contacted the hotel to be told that we could only move our booking to November or December not rebook or have our money held as a credit to rebook for the 2022 ski season as they hadn't opened those bookings yet. Then we were told if we paid the remainder of the full booking they would move it to the following year. The talked in circles via email and stated they were unable to refund even though they confirmed they would initially all whilst sending us updated terms & conditions. The attitude and customer service provided was appalling ! I can't actually believe that people think this is ok way to treat others who were coming to inject money into their business.

impossible to contact. i need to change my booking due to medical issue and they have not got back to me in 2 weeks. I have left multiple emails and phone messages to try to get through. they don't seem to be interested in helping once you have booked.
