Kingston Community Health Centre

Had to have a blood test very efficient and quick very friendly staff

Im tefering here to kingston community healh care,st.Johns street,

,they are absolutely fantastic in the work they do for me
I didnt know they had soooo much to offer,
Wow🤗

They are changing bandages for me twice a week on an ulser on my big toe...in my own home so I dont have to go out

😃but they have so much more to offer, I was able to get an O.T.to come into my home to see what I need as I have a Disability ,
If you are sick living in kingbough or Hounvile,I would hightly recommend them ☺

New building, wheelchair access and a lift. Friendly reception and health care professionals.

I have in the PAST had really good experiences at this centre NOT Today
The centre was closed when I arrived for my appointment I was rudely inofrmed that'people do get things happen in their lives you know"and Told taht this abrasive rude person who I presume was the receptionist had repeatedly tried to phone me an d"she couldn't help it if peoplel didn't answer their phones"I checked my log on my mobile when I returned and there were calls from the centre at 09.48
and 12.21 12.22
Iw as out for 30 mins on my walk between 10 and 10.30 only At 12.15 I left to go to Coles on teh way to my appointment at 2pm
This person was extremely rude to me I have low -vision and had to catch a taxi and tehn walk through from ColesShe did not show or express any interest or concern about me I had booked the appointment because I am in pain .She DID NOT OFFER TO REBOOK MY APPOINTMENT or give me any idea about when the centre would be open so I can see the physio.There was no apology or sense of any caring at all I don't understand how someone who is rude and has no idea how to speak to people could have a job fronting a Health Centre.It used to be very different .I am reluctant to go there again or even to ring to see if I can book another appointment Jenni Eve Ackerman I hope something is done because it USED to be really Good

I am adding to my review today
I have been contacted by the Physiotherapist who I was booked to see .She gave me some background to the situation and has arranged for a one-off home visit for me
This is the standard of care I have received in the past
I feel appreciative again of this Centre which has met my needs in many ways in the past
It offers a good Community service and many different services can be found there from Physio to Exercise classes It is a good place to go to usually .I am amending my review from 1 star to 4

Had really good experience before. This year everything is slow and short of staffs. Not reply calls and fully booked for 1 month, for baby check up which is unacceptable.

Have been unable to get through to them on the phone for quite some time, asks for an ID and a PIN number. Went down to book an appointment in person and was told the phones are working fine and when shown the phones were indeed not going through to them was once again told there’s nothing wrong with the phones. Maybe fix this issue as it’s a real inconvenience having to book appointments in person when you have a small baby.

The most rude and unhelpful reception staff that I have ever come across! Shame, because everyone else in there doing their job are wonderful.

Poor Experience. Stuff are rude. Constantly interrupting. I was unable to explain what I was wanting to do. One lady even began to explain how the receptionist was not doing her job correctly.

After just 1 phone call this this place, I completely understand why star reviews low.
For anyone this place helps, I am happy for you.

Reception staff are incredibly rude.
