Really like this hardware in Castlemaine. Local people with great knowledge which is pretty helpful for me, as I'm pretty amateur bodger at the best of times!

They are more than happy to spend time cutting things to size, and properly checking sizes and board options for getting good wood cuts for projects.

This is the last project they helped with. All cut out, and then a simple construction and spray. (it's a shoe rack, not shelves)

Lloyd is my favorite timber and hardware provider ever! He gave me amazing advice on how to fix my beautiful rocking chair which now sits at the very center of my living room because I love it so much. Thanks Lloyd !

Very good service, small local store with decent range for the size of the place, garden section is great, paint staff are incredibly helpful, so far I've been about 2 or 3 dozen times and I've found everything I needed each time.

Went here specifically for a particular product and left with a lot more all due to the helpful nature and advice provided by one of the staff. I failed to get her name but she was incredibly helpful and, given that and the amount of stock this place has I think this will be my go-to for any hardware needs over travelling a similar distance to get to Bunnings. Recommended.

Love what you've done with the place! Since taking over the old Beard's hardware store (which we thought was pretty good) the new owners have transformed it with more space, more stock and more staff! We don't bother going into Kangaroo Flat looking for hardware bargains anymore, these guys have got the lot. And still the best plant section in the Maine even if it is Campbell's Creek!

Young man named Walter was extremely helpful and polite. They have everything you'd need from a hardware store. Way better than Bunnings.
