Been coming to Hobart and Kingston for a few years and Maxies has become our “go to”. Best coffee around with great little bits of coffee accoutrement for your inner coffee snob! Also lovely pastries.

Bestest coffee and group of Baristas in Hobart. The sort of coffee place every suburb needs. Great coffee and quick friendly service, my coffee made within 30 seconds flat even on busy mornings. Sam and the crew do an amazing job.

Really, really, really good atmosphere service food and coffee... the 🍋 lemon Tart oh my goodness 😍 love at first bite, almost forgot to photograph.

Maxies has raised the bar for cafes to a whole new level. The coffee is consistently superb. I always come away feeling better than I walked in because of the gorgeous staff and the way they treat me. If everyone had Maxies as their daily dose the world would be a better place.

Every place we go to we always end up saying, ‘yeah - it’s not as good as Maxie’.
Sam and her team are dedicated to great coffee, reducing waste (options such as mug library, they order milk in big refillable bladders rather than tonnes of packaging), and have a great selection of pastries and snacks all made locally.
Since the new renovation through Kingston they have plenty of tables on the footpath to enjoy your coffee in the sun, or some spots inside too for when you need.
It’s a great local hub - they always remember your name and coffee order.

Do yourself a favour and become a regular at Maxie Coffee in Kingston! Amazing range of beans and milks to suit every coffee order. Sam and the team are all super friendly (not to mention expert baristas) who make you feel welcome every single time you visit. The awesome range of sweet treats doesn't hurt either, and if you have time to sit down for an egg and bacon roll you won't regret it! Also puppy friendly which really makes it a 6 out of 5 stars ⭐

first time visiting but seemed really nice. Unfortunately there was a rude man who let his young children climb all over the food display counter and block the entryway. Shocking behaviour
