Sumptuous, complex, authentic.

The food and service here are impeccable. We did need to make a booking on Saturday night, and the place was packed. After receiving our food I can see why.

Despite the sold out venue, we received our entrees and mains in good time, and they were phenomenal.

The Spring Rolls (vegetarian) were filled with flavour, finely shredded and didn't get that cheap feeling when you pull the rest of the filling out with a single bite. It also was paired with a wonderful sweet chilli sauce.

The Chicken Satay skewers were so tender and juicy, with the satay sauce an all-star. Rich, creamy, nutty, not oily, smooth. A generous portion too.

The mains: Massaman Beef Curry & Chicken Yellow Curry.

The Massaman is without a doubt one of the best I've ever had. The meat literally falls apart in your mouth, just as it should. Tender, soft, juicy and the sauce; rich, aromatic, smooth. The potato was cooked perfectly too, not too soft and just cooked right, soft in the mouth, absorbing so much good flavour.

The Yellow Curry was in the same league, and a hard to do understated curry due to being mild by intention. The flavours never fought each other, and it remained a smooth, full curry without losing its flavour.

This would have to be the best Thai restaurant in the Blue mountains. If it loses any points at all it's that the venue itself doesn't feel like an authentic Thai restaurant with the tapestries and so on. However once seated and enjoying the food, all that goes out the window.

I'd definitely recommend to anyone in/out of the area.

We came here last minute and my god all four of us thought everything was delicious! We didn't waste any of it and for 4 people we spent about $30 each. Every dish was some of the best version of it that we've ever had. I would consider doing the 2hr drive up there just for the amazing food. Service and atmosphere was also top notch.
It is literally a house turned into a restaurant which I think suited the mountains small town vibe.
Lamb shank massaman curry. *drool* not usually my favourite curry but this was so thick and creamy. Lamb just fell off the bone tender. Didn't need a knife.
Chicken larb. Perfect amount of chilli heat and sour tang. Balanced out the other food.
Satay pork noodles. The pork was so soft and there was a lot of veggies too. A lot of places don't have this many fresh veggies in it. The sauce itself was so peanuty and creamy.
Duck tamarind. Crispy duck breastfeeding on a bed of steamed veggies. Good portion of veg. Could be a bit more tamarind flavoured.
I forgot to get pictures of dessert. Banana sticky rice and taro sticky rice both served warm and with a scoop of creamy, not icy, vanilla ice cream. The sticky rice is the kind wrapped it banana leaf first not typically found in thai restaurants I find but an Asian grocer. We ordered 2 then had to get 1 more.
Oh and this was also with 4 servings of rice. Worth it.
Tldr; come here for delicious Thai in the mountains.

Absolutely delicious Thai food. I had the vegan net rolls, which were on the daily special board. Also had the cashew nut stir fry and the coconut rice. Plenty of options on the menu for everyone. Prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly. Can highly recommend this place next time you're in Blackheath.

We recently visited the Blue Mountains and came across this restaurant via google reviews. If you are staying in Blackheath or nearby, definitely go there at least once. We went there 3 times within a week because it was close, the meals were good, friendly staff and comfy chairs. Was definitely busier on Sat night, so make sure you book.

Recommended Items:

1. Thai Dim Sum
2. Massaman Beef Curry

Spring Rolls are also good.

Only suggestion for improvement is to have cold house water rather than room temperature :)

An awesome hidden gem off the main road! We had lunch and then was back for more for dinner! The pad thai was super authentic, along with the massaman Beef. For an entree size and priced Tomyum (perfect spice level) and Prawn salad was very worth it! Quite large servings especially 2 mains for a family of 3. Rice portions are big and the customer service is good. Busy restaurant, so make sure you book early and fast! (Many people were declined to eat in due to the high volume of bookings).

Went here by chance. Very glad we did. Food was delicious and service pleasant. Extremely good value. Just note it's not licensed but can BYO which we didn't realise. Recommend.

A hidden gem a short distance from the station. A small family business, very attentive to requests, and simply outstanding food without any strangeties. The portions are reasonable but not excessive. As all Thai restaurants in Australia, they don't make the food as spicy as I would have preferred (comparing to Thailand itself), but the spicing was well balanced. A place worth visiting on holidays. Byo.

My husband and I enjoyed the food! We had the lamb massaman curry and pork belly with banana sticky rice for dessert. Would return if I had the chance to!

The food is great and the value is even better . Not that nice inside but it’s a bit 80s retro so I’m cool with that.

We went there on a Saturday night school term holiday weekend and were extremely lucky to get the only table that was available. The portions are great, food taste is amazing and service is quick. The tom yum soup and green curry have always been my favourite. The desert menu can surely be updated beyond a sticky rice menu.
