So much food stacked into one small space. They cover all the main stuff plus have an interesting selection of different items, eg canada dry ginger ale or nougat etc, for sale. Prices are ok given where they are. Parking is street so you may need to walk a ways.

The friendly grocer lives up to its name. Top staff! After a stop over at Blackheath on a journey back to Sydney I lost my wallet. The girl at the FG found it and got in touch. The wallet included kids gift cards. So they are over the moon. Big thanks to the staff at the girl at the friendly grocer 👍🤗

Very well stocked supermarket but tiny isles with no wheelchair access.

There's no big supermarket in Blackheath (the nearest is in Katoomba), but the Friendly Grocer has a good range of groceries in a compact store.
