The food is incredible! If you’re looking to treat yourself, make sure you book your table at Cinnabar!

The sizzling prawns are a must (maybe even 2 dishes), the mains are all amazing especially the chicken, and the drinks cater to a variety of tastes.

We’ve got a mix of dietary restrictions in our groups and the chef has no issues catering to gluten and dairy free and still providing an amazing quality and filling meal.

As with every small business in NSW right now, there’s shortages in staff and training, so if you’ve got a new server please show them patience and grace. The owner and head chef are consistently amazing! This isn’t a meal you’ll want to rush through, so leave the kids behind and head out for a lovely night!

I love the Bilpin Blush mocktail, the prawns and the chicken.

Pricey? Yes. Worth it? YES!!!

Extremely lovely setting, and with a manager who is passionate about her food and craft. You can feel it from the moment you enter. Every single dish we ordered was delightful, and invigorating, well cooked, well seasoned, well spiced.

If I were to review every item I’d run out of space, so I’ll just say - go try it, it’s worth it, book in advance!

Outstanding food and brilliant concept. We thoroughly enjoyed all our 'round the world' dishes but standouts for me were the spinach and ricotta dumplings, the king prawn tempura, and the scallop tartare. The elderflower martini was delicious and so was the local wine. Highly recommend and can't wait to return.

You must try this place. 100% recommend to anyone in the Blue Mountains area. Very nice warm atmosphere inside. Mary-Jane Craig was serving and she is an excellent host. She gave explanations for the dishes we ordered and helped us with choosing from the menu. All items are share plates ranging from main size to small appetizers and sides. We had 2 salads, a broth shot, the fish curry as the main and quinoa as the side. Then we had to fit in dessert. All the food was delicious. I'm not a fan of olives but enjoyed them in the caprese salad as their flavour blended in so well with the other ingredients. Spent about 130$ each including drinks for 2 people and was well worth it. We were there for about 2.5 hours all up. Everything entered the "clean plate club". Looking forward to our next fantastic dining experience at Cinnabar.

Overall, in an unassuming position. But holy. You check this menu, the price may make you jump. Although, it's no lie. The waiter is lovely and knowledgeable. She knows her craft just as well as she knows her food on the menu.

A touch of music may have helped the atmosphere. Although, unreal cocktails and unreal calibre of plateage and food quality. Totally out of this world. bring a first date here and I think you'll be winning.

Mary-Jane and the staff looked after our table of 13 superbly. Always attentive, friendly and professional. Corrinne in the kitchen delivered an absolute plethora of flavours in every dish. Truly an amazing experience. To sum up, Cinnabar nailed it! Can't wait to return.

An unassuming little restaurant on the Great Western Highway running through Blackheath. The food had an international flair and was an absolute flavour bomb. Service was attentive and friendly with great advice on share plate combinations. Highly recommend including as part of a Blue Mountains experience.

Our recent (one of many) visit to Cinnabar Kitchen was truly exceptional, leaving a lasting impression of culinary excellence and impeccable service. The standout dish for us was the Jamaican Prawns - an absolute delight, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour, showcasing the chef Corinne Evatt's remarkable skills.

What truly elevated the experience was the impeccable service provided by the staff, led by restauranteur Mary-Jane Craig. Their attentiveness and professionalism were evident throughout the evening, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was perfect.

Moreover, the atmosphere at Cinnabar Kitchen was nothing short of inviting and warm. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcomed by the ambiance, which struck the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality.

Overall, Cinnabar Kitchen exceeded all expectations, providing a five-star dining experience that we would highly recommend to anyone seeking exceptional food, excellent service, and a delightful atmosphere in the lovely township of Blackheath in the Blue Mountains.

We had a private dining experience in one of the upstairs rooms. All dishes came as share plates, well presented und very versatile.
Each dish was special. Service looked after us very well. I can definitely recommend to come here.

This was the most amazing food I have ever eaten. The combinations of flavours was sensational. There was one lady serving the entire restaurant and she did such an amazing job suggesting menu options and explaining the flavour combinations and origins of the food. It is an absolute must do when visiting the mountains! Amazing experience.

We had the best dinner here. The ambiance and staff was wonderful and each dish was delicious. They have a great choice of wine and we had a bottle of Italian Pinot Grigio which was delicious.
Dishes we had were: Jamaican prawns, caprese salad, baked chermoula spiced aubergine, crumbed barramundi, New York cheese cake.

Quite honestly some of the best food that we’ve had in a long time. The fish curry melted in your mouth, the tempura prawns were juicy in crisp batter and I can’t stop thinking about the potatoes in a paprika cream! The share dishes do sit around $38-45 so it’s not a cheap night out however this is a place where you absolutely get what you pay for and it’s worth every dollar. Highly recommend!

Great food. Had some awesome dishes. But sometimes let down by the service. We had to keep asking to top up our wine and water

We went to dinner on our annual girls trip and it was amazing. The personalized communication from when we booked and the level of service on the night was incredible. It was a fancy but personal and relaxed atmosphere, and so enjoyable - it kind of felt like you were at your Aunties house for dinner. Food was delicious and good size share plates. Group favourites were the Jamaican spiced prawn pot and the Punjabi spiced chicken. Would definitely come back!
