Woolworths Eastlands (Tasmania)

My wife was so impressed with her experience at the checkout here. The pleasant man who served her actually apologised for the wait time and to her every one of the 3 people ahead of her as well! Coming from Sydney where we are accustomed to standing in long lines this was a first! Made her feel like a customer and his polite and efficient service was much appreciated especially during these crazy pre Xmas days in every city. Well done, Hobart. An example that others can follow!

I have been using Woolworths Rosny for a while now for my regular grocery shop. They have always been great- polite, helpful staff and well stocked store.

Today, I met Krista as she bought out my click and collect order.
As I opened the car door to put the groceries in, I saw a huge spider. I mean, HUGE. This thing was roughly the size of a a newborn kitten.

I, being the cool, calm cucumber that I am, promptly panicked. I whipped off my shoe to commit spidicide but as I was doing so the furry little monster ran into the car, directly at my baby in her seat.
As I sprint-hopped to the other side to rescue my bubba, I explained (probably shreiked) that this was the second spider I had seen on my car today- the other being very different in size but still terrifying and at large.

Krista grabbed some paper and brushed the spider from the car and (probably because I was chanting for blood) squished it.

Strongly in favour of giving the keys to the remaining spider and walking home with the baby, I stood shaking and doing breathing exercises taught to be my Jack Nicholson in the movie Anger Management. Krista disappeared and came back with a can of spider spray.
She then held my baby while I sprayed anywhere on the car that looked like it might be harbouring spooky little passengers (read: everywhere).

She wished me a better afternoon and went back to work. A hero in a green vest.

On the way home the second spider reappeared and fell off the side mirror.

Lovely fresh produce beautifully presented. The shop is very clean and well designed. The Staff were approachable and very helpful and even phoned other branches for my obscure needs with one particular item..always easy undercover parking

Never overcrowded, quiet ambience, serviced by elevators and escalators l

Always good service more to select and really good fruit and vegetables. And the staff are very friendly.

Carpark right by the entrance was handy, clean store and helpful staff with a big selection of products.

Love Eastlands has alot of shops in one complex

Wonderful place and I love to do all my shopping there, very friendly invaranment, multiple levels and plenty of parking, kids and elderly friendly space

The service is always wonderful at Eastlands. The team work very well together and as a local it's refreshing to have consistent quality service..

Good store layout, plenty of fresh produce, the staff in the deli were very friendly and helpful. Easy parking and next door to cafes, restaurants and other shopping. Very convenient place to buy your groceries.

Very slow but great service need to open more cashier

I went early 8.30 am .There were very few people and my shopping was very quick.
I went to Woolworths and chemist warehouse. Both places had good pleasant service.

Good quality fruit aand vegies. Similar prices as coles .but much cheaper than IGA where I never shop as too overpriced for most pensioners.

Love the stores new layout and very easy auto registers no waiting
