Macedon Ranges Hotel and Spa

We had a lovely long and relaxing massage. The room we stayed in was really spacious with a great spa bath in the bedroom overlooking the trees. The bathroom was huge and it even had a double shower. We were also impressed with the friendly service. Thank you for making this a memorable occasion. We felt really pampered.

The room is very spacious and such beautiful views. It was nice relaxing in the spa over looking the views.
We liked this place so much that we booked another night when it was time to head back to the airport. We were checking in outside of their office opening times and the receptionist made this process very easy for us. The heater was even turned on for our arrival.

I absolutely loved our stay here, not only did the staff really help us out with accommodating our check in time, they were very friendly about it.
The room was nice, but the view is really what your there for. Not to mention the spa over looking Mount Macedon.
We got to watch bunnies play, plenty of gorgeous birds to watch and listen to too.
The shower was not the greatest, but the spa is so good.

This place is a hidden gem!
My wife and I stayed over the weekend at Macedon Ranges Hotel and Spa. We booked a Deluxe Corner Room for two nights and it was absolutely worth the price! The direct view of the mountains from the window was breathtaking. The spa tub was truly amazing. There are not many places around that would offer this much of facilities and comfort at a great price.
We will definitely go there again!

Amazing day/night views, especially at night from the spa. Close to local parks, cafes and resturants. Wonderful stay, would stay again.

What a breath of fresh air from our bad experience at Werribee Mansion, Harris who checked us in was the consummate professional,
couldn't do enough for us.
The room was fantastic very spacious with great views over Mt Macedon, you can relax in the large spa bath and look out at the mountains,even when your in the king size bed you see the views through huge glass windows, no one can see in as you back onto the forest.
The room was very clean and modern, I love this place, so do yourself a favour and stay here

My partner and I got the stay at this hotel as a present and had to postpone multiple times due to covid. The hotel staff were extremely responsive over email and accommodated all our requests without any issues.

The room was amazing and clean, views were great just as promised if not better. Overall, one of the bet getaways I've experienced.

Big comfy bed and with spa.. bathroom huge.. great place for a stop off and to relax.. needs a cloth to wipe the benches after cooking toast and coffee.. overall pretty good value for money..

Despite the majority of negative reviews we arrived open minded and hoping for the best. Our night away was really beautiful.

Let's talk about the view first off, what a piece of art! Looking over the mountains in the morning drinking a hot coffee was a dream.

The spa was also such a luxury, looking out the window and enjoying all the beauty nature has to offer.

Our evening was spent by the gas fire which again was relaxing and is great addition to the room.

Unfortunately the strong winds made sleeping rough but the bed was of good size and comftable.

The highway is close by and once the wind died down the traffic could be heard but was not much of an issue.

I would recommend staying here for a relaxing or romantic night away.

I saw a fair few bad reviews and thought this isn't going to be good. To our surprise the room was very clean, spa bath was amazing definitely a highlight, bed was very comfy and people mentioned that couldn't sleep because of freeway noise not sure what they were talking about instead before booking have a look at the surroundings this place can't do much about a freeway being there...

I'd give it 6 stars!

Wonderful views of Mt Macedon. Clean and comfortable rooms with gas fireplace and ensuite relaxing Spa.
Good breakfast basket and great local wine optins.
We couldn't eat in the restaurant, so, you must to book your table there with a lot of anticipation.

My friend and I booked a night away for a girls trip. Whilst our check in wasn’t till later in the day, the beautiful receptionist Sam found a way for us to check in earlier so that we didn’t have to get ready for an event in a public restroom. Sam is the definition of amazing customer service, and I have never experienced that care ever in hospitality.
The room was very clean and the views were picturesque.
We will be back in the near future and have already recommended that our friends stay there when visiting Macedon. Thank you again Sam for everything and for making our girls trip one to remember xx

Stunning! What a gorgeous view to wake up to and the spa bath was big enough for a swim. Can't wait to come back. We stayed for one night but it was enough to make us feel refreshed. Very close to Macedon and Woodend.

Great weekend escape from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne and less than an hour away! Spa treatment was amazing, restaurant was delicious, rooms are quiet and comfortable, Harris at reception is awesome! I will be back!

Only stayed here one night but was extremely satisfied with the service, the room and the cleanliness. Easy to book, easy to deal with, would stay again. Spa and bathroom were awesome.

The Google maps location is slightly incorrect. Just a little bit wrong enough to take us to the wrong place haha... I have included a picture of the correct entry location.

Day spa was amazing was given a gift voucher for my birthday beauty therapist was so professional ultimate indulgence package was amazing felt so refreshed and platter was beautiful highly recommend will defiantly go back
