I've eaten at all the local food shops, this place tops everything melbourne wide, this place has the best burgers in Melbourne, the chicken parma kills everything I've tried, I've reviewed so many food places, this one is the best of them all, try it and u will see for yourself, well deserved 5 stars bud

Sherrie and her team were superb. We had a wedding that needed some late-night hot chip catering for some hungry guests. They did not disappoint! Friendly, warm and so welcoming to customise the (quite large) order and to drive out to a remote location late on a Saturday night. All small businesses need to be as dedicated as this team! Also, everyone loved the chips (and mushy peas) - even our British guests who claim to be connoisseurs. Fantastic service and terrific hot fresh food!

Good quality local fish and chips shop

They have some very affordable packs with generous portions gone up in price a little bit in recent times (but so has most things) still good value for money in my opinion.

We usually like to get one of the flake packs add an extra dim sum and go eat it my the local lerderderg river walking distance from the shop.

They also make nice burgers

****Update the last few times we have been to this shop since our last review it has been going up and up in price as well as smaller portions and poorer quality fish. I would no longer give this store 5 stars in it's current position****

A hidden gem that is amazing!
So clean, service was lovely, fresh clean oil, food was amazing 🤩… portion size huge for their packs!!! Support your local businesses and definitely give these guys a try!!

Total hidden gem for those of us on the other side of town. We started going here again after time and time again of disappointing f&c’s from the other local shops that we’d been going to for years but Darley’s food quality is awesome! Really delicious and awesome value for money. Our portions were double the size of other shops and equally as tasty, thanks again guys!

Stopped in for lunch on the way to Lerderderg. The burgers are a bit steep at $15 for one with the Loy,but worth it, as they tasted amazing. Son got the parma and liked that, too. Good place to stop for a hearty lunch!

I've tried a lot of burgers in my time but nothing comes close to this. It was the tastiest burger Ive ever had.

This was my favourite fish and chip experience in Australia since I moved here 12 years ago.

Stopped here tonight for a quick bite and had a burger without tomato🤮and scallops. Great staff with a great attitude and very helpful. The food was was pretty damn good really, if Sherry is cooking just go easy on the love.

After a big walk around Lerdederg Gorge, my friends and I were looking for some good food! Darley Fish and Chips was great, each of us loved the food and the service. A great place to go!

Literally just finished eating food from here in the park up the road. Wanted to say thanks for the amazing food. Best fish and chips I've had in a while. Worth it just for the chips alone but the flakes, potato cakes and calamari were excellent as well. Definitely not the last time I'll be eating here.

Wasn't expecting just how great this was!
Massive portions but cooked with care, everything was delicious. We ordered the pack for 2 and it easily could have fed 4. 10/10 will be visiting again.

We are full time visitors to this place the chips are awesome and feed a family of 5 for just $6 also they have excellent service to.
Went in on Friday night and the place was buzzing.
