A stunning national park with stunning rock formations. Easy walks that are readily done in 2-3 hours at a leisurely pace. Take time to observe and listen, birds and animals everywhere. A shame that big mechanical birds also fly over too (a little noisy at times), but otherwise incredibly peaceful. Enjoy the all-uphill walk out at the end! All very doable even for the people with standard fitness levels and/or unique needs. Very accessible. Bring water and a picnic to enjoy - lots of tables at the top and down in the park. Lovely next to Jackson’s Creek. Toilets on site and the walking trails are clearly marked. Strongly recommend. Not to far from the city - an afternoon trip.

Interesting rock formations. It's a short downhill walk from the car park to the organ pipes rock formations. Walk a little further upstream along the creek and see 2 more rock formations - the rosette stone and tessellated pavement. Everything is well marked and there are plenty of picnic benches (near the carpark and near organ pipes) with water fountain and dunnies. We spotted kangaroos up close, you'll likely too.

One of the Best places in West for a organized Bush walk 🌴 🌲 kinda experience.

- Have 3 trail options with nice views and photo spots
- Washrooms available at multiple spots
- Nice incline & decline ( obviously 😊)
- Bench at the top, right next to Car Park
- Drinking water available
- Kids love it
- Pram can be brought until certain distances easily

Pro Tip:
Recommended walking little off track and sit by flowing water 🌊 for extra peace if mind and feel refreshed

An awesome little National Park where you can traverse all walks in an hour. The organ pipes and tessellated pavement are fascinating landforms well worth visiting. This is so close to the airport and north western suburbs. Plenty of parking and lovely picnic spots. The hill up to return to the carpark is a great workout!!

A nice little walk loop down from a car park down to the Organ Pipes viewing platform, then left past the Rosette rock toward Tessellated Pavement. About an hour walk with roughly 100 metres elevation from the car park to the viewing platform. Also a great place to watch planes take off from Melbourne airport.

There are a number of basalt rock formations in this park.

Park at the top of the park and it's a steep decline walk down to the Organ Pipes formation. There's a creek that runs along the rock formations with plenty of trees and shrubs.

There's plenty of picnic tables amongst trees that provide good shade.

Nice and short 1 hour walk for all ages with very interesting rock structures. The beginning and end of the walking loop is quite steep, so it’s better to be careful if you have difficulty walking. There are benches, good for picnic

This national park offers three trail options with beautiful nature views. Restroom facilities and a picnic area are conveniently located near both the carpark and the Organ Pipes rock. The initial part of the trail, as well as the path to the Organ Pipes rock, is relatively steep but short. It is unsuitable for wheelchairs. I spent 1.5 hours there. It's worth a visit.

Peaceful and wonderful place. Close to the city. Good walk across the creek, you’ll find many birds, sometimes snake.

Nice park to go to with the family. Has nice views and some good reads along the way about the history and animals that live there.

It’s a relatively short walk going to the organ pipes from parking but be prepared for the walk back as the path is mainly going up.

Overall nice place to go to with picnic spots and access to toilets.

A nice park for a wander, easy to navigate all the tracks with a heart pumping walk up the steep hill back to the car park.
All up, maybe about 1hr-1.5hrs depending on how many stops you make along the way.
Good spot for a picnic with a few designated picnic areas and bench seats scattered throughout the park.

It seems to be popular with tour groups, so it is best to go early when the gates open before the crowds descend.

If you're into planes, you can see many flying overhead as they take off from nearby Tullamarine airport.
It's great watching them come over the ridge with the organ pipes in the foreground.

The home of an ancient lava field, Victoria's Organ Pipes National Park is a public space full of geological and cultural delights.

An amazing park to visit. Have hats and good walking shoes as there is a steep up/down hill to the organ pipe rocks!

More of a picnic area for a nice day out with mates or families, easy to get to and easy to navigate your way round except walking back to the car park area is slightly steep. Best times are early mornings or pretty much everyone is at work so you can enjoy the whole area to yourself!

Can’t believe this little National Park is nearby!

💚 Great little hiking spot, but ⚠ be aware of the steep climb back up.
💚 Amazing geological features - the columnar jointing from past volcanoes are a really great to view and photograph.
💚 Lots of little picnic areas if you’d like to make a day out of it.

A good place to go trekking with older kids.
The whole trek would last an hour depending on the stops you make.

There are three sites to see.
- The Organ Pipes formation
- The Rosette Rock
- The Tessellated Pavement (Can walk on them)

It’s a broad road to walk down.
A steep descent, not recommended for those who may find it hard to ascend.

Avoid the rainy seasons as best practice when trekking.

They have a nice picnic ground and ample car park space.

Minus
- No kids play area so may be a disappointment for the younger crowd.

Overall, fascinating to see rock formation from years and years ago.

Well worth a visit for a picnic lunch. Lots of short walks that lead nowhere but good for a wander. The Organ Pipes are definitely the main attraction. Be prepared for a very long walk on a bitumen road down to the Organ Pipes and other minor attractions...and back up again. We went on a Sunday and it was quite busy.

Beautiful, clean, and relaxing experience to be with nature. Saw some tiny blue birds and kangaroos too. Also found a beautiful beetle. Lovely sights!
