First time I've driven to Guthega and started skiing from there. Easy to get to however there is about 10-15 kms of dirt road which could be a turn off for those who are precious about their car. Another turnoff for some is the approx 60 steps to walk up from the car park to the snow. Then you have to walk about another 50 metres in the snow to get to the first lift. The Guthega ski runs were great. Good variety for all levels. Not many people when I was there so lift queues were short. Think next time though I'll park at Perisher and traverse across to Guthega.
