Turnak Ski Club

Ride, walk, run, swim, play, snow (in winter), see a sky full of stars, just curl up to watch a storm roll across the valley or watch Netflix (bring your own device) in new surroundings. This is a fantastic place to spend time in summer! Not being an outdoor person I was worried I would be bored but the days were full of achievable activities.
We went for walks. The wildlife is epic, we actually saw an Echidna; as well as wombats, wallabies, frogs, lizards, kangaroos, foxes, rabbits and dear. We took the kids to see summit of Kosciusko, walked to the summit of Charlotte’s pass and Guthega.

With 4 kids going on holidays is costly and difficult; often I’m exhausted when I get home from holidays. Turnak ski club made going away easy!

The accommodation is like staying in a resort unit, it is stunning. The climate controls can be set for each individual room. The rooms are set out for flexible sleeping arrangement. all the rooms have an en suite some with baths. We were staying at the same time as two other families but due to the insulation the rooms are quiet and with two living spaces there was space to spare.
You can cook your meals and bring food with you, the kitchen is immaculately appointed with everything you could want, I reached for a rice cooker and it was there:-0

Being summer some of the ski areas like Charlotte’s Pass and Perisha are desolate but Guthega still has energy and activity.
Turnak Ski club is now our get away destination and Turnak Ski Lodge is our Accommodation.
