Beach-Hut Cafe

We have enjoyed our time coming to The Beach Hut every day this week.
The coffee is great, and the service has been awesome. They definitely go the extra mile to please. Extremely dog friendly and attentive to our furry friends.

Great food, coffee, service and location. We loved our spot in the weak winter sun outside on the Main Street. A great spot for people watching too. We thoroughly enjoyed herb chicken focaccias and added a couple of extras. The coffee was lovely too. The service was absolutely beautiful. Genuinely friendly and very efficient. This is a terrific cafe and given what we saw, it’s quite properly much loved by locals. Highly recommended

A lovely little cafe in Hastings. I couldn’t believe it. I was able to order gluten free French toast with bacon and maple syrup on the side. They use a really nice gluten free bread and as I only use a little - the maple syrup on the side. They had plenty of nice food on the menu. My hubby had a homemade burger also very nice. Coffee was good too. I would eat here again. Open every day. Awesome. Staff were very nice too.

Amazing staff period! Friendly and the food was tasty. We were visiting from Vic and choosing the beach hut cafe as our go to brekky spot was the best idea during this Christmas. The date &apricot fruit loaf, pancakes, hot chocolate and scrambled eggs 🥂💕🥰. Of all the cafe around this place was constantly packed with customers the footfall was beyond and it was a clear testament that it is due to the amazing brilliant team👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽keep up the good work. Loved it 💕🥰

Every single staff member was so kind. Literally only came in for a takeaway coffee and everyone seemed like they were happy and enjoying themselves and the coffee was amazing :)

Excellent coffee. Good gluten free breakfast options. Friendly and efficient staff. Plenty of seating inside and out. Licenced. Relaxed and comfortable. Plenty of return-business locals is a good sign.

I've been coming here for years and the foods always great coffee is awesome the staff are just amazing. The negative comments on here I've read them all and are a load of rubbish many of the regulars also been coming for years and myself have never had a bad thing to say everything's always top notch. And being a local all my life ive never even heard of these people giving the awful reviews obviously just out of town entitled sooks happy to dent someone's pride and joy to make them feel good about themselves.

Had our work Christmas breakfast here, food was great, served in a timely manner, happy atmosphere, many coffees were made as we were a large group all delicious.

The vibe here is so chill! And, omg, the coffee is to die for. A new server took our order, and another followed her. Looks like they've got an excellent work environment going on here.

Arrived early and seated without any issues.. All smiles and friendliness from the staff.. A really great breakfast with no issues at all...

Really lovely staff.

I have walked past this cafe plenty of times, and it always seems to have customers (unlike other cafes on High St). I figured today was the day I try it out.

I was immediately greeted and given a table...and the young lady left me with a menu and promptly went to get me my caffeine fix.

Another waitress came and took my breakfast order soon after, and the coffee and breakfast arrived very soon after that.

I ordered an 'Italian breakfast' which turned out much better than I had imagined. Don't be fooled by the mountain of rocket, there are two eggs, Prosciutto and plenty of avocado and feta under there.

I'd you live in the area or are passing through, don't hesitate to give this cafe a go.

I have been coming here for years. The best thing I can say about this place is it is reliable. I know I will always get great food and a warm welcome from the staff. I get breakfast here quite often and they do an awesome scrambled eggs and bacon and the best coffee.

My family and I are locals and regular customers of Beach Hut Cafe. They have beautiful, friendly staff who seat us immediately every time. Table service is always prompt and food comes out quickly, and delicious. We’ve had Mother’s Day lunch here two years in a row and although busy, service was identical to a Tuesday afternoon. Affordable too!

Had a quick stop over here on our way to our destination. Wanted to grab a quick takeaway snack
Wow! The service was incredible, such lovely ladies that were so helpful and friendly. We ordered a veggie focaccia which tasted quite nice. The real winner though was the almond croissant (which they recommended we heat up) and O M G the best almond croissant we have ever had!
Can definitely recommend this cute little Cafe!

What a great atmosphere, the staff treat us like family. They are so happy to serve. The hot chocolate is the best I've tasted in the area. I totally recommend this Cafe for all the family including furry members. (Dogs and probably cats too). A beautiful hidden gem in Hastings, Victoria.
