For someone who is usually gluten free, I couldn’t say no to the house made bread - no regrets. Best bread I’ve eaten in who-knows-how-long?!
Entrees we’re good and everyone was impressed with their main meals although the fish was a little bit dry. Needed something saucy even if it was on the side. Desserts didn’t disappoint and staff were superb professionals. Magnificent.

Fabulous Sunday lunch at the architecturally brilliant Port Phillip Estate. Great options for a pescatarian. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable on the food as well as the wine.

We dined here for lunch on a Friday and had the 3 course set menu with Oysters to start. The food was delicious, gorgeously presented and the recommended wines matched perfectly. The waitstaff were fantastic (possibly the best we have had) and the views are spectacular. We had allowed an hour for lunch and stayed for almost three!

Highly recommend. 5 star dining in a relaxed atmosphere.

My now fiancee and I got engaged at this property, dined at the restaurant and also stayed for 2-nights in late October. If you have high expectations for luxury properties, and appreciate uniqueness, quality of service, and personal touch, this is a fantastic romantic weekend. Super boutique (6 rooms, all walk into vineyard where only hotel quests are allowed) and absolutely stunning location and architecture. Large, well appointed rooms tucked away under the building (super cool). Restaurant was possibly the best we had during our 2 weeks in Australia. Only knock is that it's not "full service" like a Ritz / Four Seasons (also no pool, workout etc) but that wouldn't really jive with the experience here.

There are plenty of options to stay on the Mornington Peninsula but Port Phillip Estate is by far the best. We bought the Dolce Vita package which was excellent value. The customer service is top class. From the moment Elliot welcomed us to all the other F&B staff. Incredibly friendly & professional. Lunch in the Dining Room overlooking the vineyard was exquisite. The scallops a real highlight. There are only 6 rooms on the property all looking out onto the vineyard. Luxuriously appointed & very elegant. We felt so spoilt during this stay & will have beautiful memories of our weekend away. Thanks so much to the staff for making it so special.

By far the best hospitality I have experienced for a very long time. The staff are absolutely amazing. The food was divine and the room was just gorgeous. We were surprised with a beautiful breakfast basket delivered to the room, which was not even a part of the deal.

We had a tasting with Ash at the cellar door! He was informative and fun, he really made our day! Was the best stop we made! Thanks so much!

This was one of the best experiences. It was an absolutely beautiful and perfect day for visiting a winery. Just entering the architecture and design is stunning. We went there for my wife's birthday. The restaurant was very accommodating and they had no issues with our four year old toddler. It has a very refined atmosphere and we dressed up for the occasion. The views from the restaurant and bar are incredible. It's the perfect place for couples or those special occasions. We had the three course set menu lunch which was amazing and paired it with a lovely bottle of Chardonnay. The service is exceptional. Highly recommended!

Had the absolute pleasure to have dinner and stay the night. Wow, Treated as if we were family. Dinner as always was sublime and extra treats as we were guests overnight. A lovely curated dinner and super attentive servers who made us feel part of the family.

The room! Stunning! Nothing was overlooked. Very private and inviting. The decor and deck out was beautiful. I want a bathroom like this!

Hard to fault. The building is superb concealing the amazing view until you enter, then once inside, the dining room encompasses all the beauty of the valley below. The food is delicious. The service fabulous. The wine, beautiful. The rooms are beautiful, elegant and spacious and look out over the vineyards. If I have one criticism, it’s that in the evening there was nothing open in the hotel to get any food from. They promised us a cheese platter to tide us over after our massive degustation lunch, but the platter they they brought was very small and left us really hungry overnight. But that aside, it is a truly wonderful experience staying there.

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a gorgeous wedding at Port Phillip Estate recently. The venue is absolutely breathtaking! Stunning architecture, with gorgeous natural lighting coming through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the interiors, and an epic concrete exterior offering the most spectacular backdrop. All beautifully complemented by the panoramic vineyard vista, allowing for countless beautiful photo opportunities. LOVE!!!

Port Phillip Estate has one of the best views in the region. The food and service are great. I am never disappointed dining here.

Had lunch here Easter Saturday with friends. We had a fantastic dining experience made even better by the stunning views and beautiful architecture.

The atmosphere was relaxed whilst the staff were informative, friendly and perfectly attentive with nothing being too much trouble and happy to ensure the afternoon was excellent.

Service was fantastic and Aladdin made us feel very welcomed. His attention and care was second to none. The food was fantastic, the rooms modern with a beautiful ambience that reflected the feel of the winery. Fantastic weekend winter getaway

Initially I had booked for 11 people. Though the team kindly helped me to change my booking to 12 people after I contacted them the day before my scheduled reservation time.

Consequently, during the meal when a wrong order had come up the table. The staff were quick to react and dished out my correct order without hesitance.

The children were also delighted with the service of the dining room staff. As they were patient and attentive when they refilled the wine glasses and removed the finished dishes.

I was at Port Phillip Estate yesterday as a Marriage Celebrant for a fabulous Wedding.
It was such a special and incredible venue. The views were breathtaking and the food, management and all the staff really were impeccable! I can Highly recommend this place.

I cannot fault this venue. Ok, maybe it's not the place for you if you're on a tight budget, but it is silver service dining and you definitely get what you pay for.
The service is excellent, food is amazing, and the view will take your breath away.
We were even treated to two wedge-tail eagles circling in the thermals outside.
A very memorable experience.
