What a magical experience which exceeded our expectations. From start to finish the staff was personable, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The animals were super stars! We were very excited and thankful for the hands on interaction with the animals. I would recommend anyone from any walk of life to take some time out of their busy schedule and pay them a visit. You won’t regret it!

We visit the Funky Farm a few weeks ago. Sam is an amazing person and is so passionate about what he does!
I am always cautious about visiting zoos, but all animals are very well cared for and the Funky Farm team has the highest respect for them and they are all rescued or bred on site. It was very interactive and could touch or hold all the animals besides the koalas for their well-being.

We were a family group of 8 adults and 2 kids ranging from 2-64 and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thanks Funky Farm team 🫶🏽

We had a wonderful time at the funky farm. Ambus gave us a great tour of the different animal worlds. We were given lots of information and were allowed to interact with the animals. It's really valuable that there are people like this who put their heart and soul into caring for the animals.

Highly recommended!!!

All the other staff at the farm were also really nice.

Amazing experience for little ones and adults on this little farm. Guided tour with nature passionate guides ( we had Skye and Sunny - sorry if spelling is wrong ) and they were fantastic- they let us to pat and meet Australian animals.. younger one ( 2,5 yo ) was little bit impatient during Skye's talk, but that's his energetic nature.. I highly recommend this beautiful place..

Took my neice and nephews to this beautiful farm today. You get up close and personal with the animals, the staff are very knowledgeable, they take great care of their animals and was really impressed that they do work with special needs children and everything is wheelchair accessible. Very inclusive!
Chris and Ambrose 🤣 were absolutely amazing. Definitely will visit again and highly recommend a visit to this farm

Amazingly inclusive day out at the Funky Farm -HIGHLY recommend to all! Even if you’ve been before, the Funky Farm is a perfect place to visit regularly! Their staff have a wealth of knowledge and there’s always something new to learn or different to see and experience!

Today, whilst my family and friends were on tour (learning lots, interacting with the animals and having a brilliant time), my 8yo Autistic/PDA daughter was having a panic attack in the car. She loves animals but just couldn’t get out of the car and was extremely dysregulated.

Chris, the owner, saw her distress and worked SO hard to support her! He even came and sat in the car with Guy, a 12mo wallaby, to gently support her transition!

He gave us access to the private area, allowed us to walk around on our own so she wasn’t overwhelmed, avoided eye contact with her, didn’t tell her what to do, and gave her lots of time (SO patient!) and space!

Once she was more comfortable, he signalled to me to check if it was okay to open the pen for her to go and see the wallaby. Not only did she feed him, she even got to cuddle him! Chris then took her over to measure out feed for the ponies and even had her laughing with his jokes! Not to mention that when we arrived and they saw our disabled parking permit they immediately directed us to park right up at the front, well beyond the main car park! Every minor detail was carefully considered. We were even offered a mobility scooter, which we declined, but wow!

The Funky Farm is the most wonderful place! A challenging morning, which had me on the brink of tears, was utterly saved and became the highly of my week, possibly my whole year, thanks to the incredible team and beautiful animals at the Funky Farm! They are amazingly inclusive on every single level!

It was also fabulous to hear about all the truly brilliant and empowering programs they’re running as part of the Mornington Peninsula Wildlife Project!

If there’s one place you go on the peninsula, make it the Funky Farm! You will not be disappointed!

Farrout talk about somewhere amazing! What a spectacular place. I have never in my 32 years of life had an experience like this. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and the way they are with the animals is absolutely fantastic. My brother is high on the spectrum and also suffers facial dysplacia and the staff where great. Highly inclusive!! Chris and sam have created something very special! Our whole group had a ball! Highly recommend. 👏🏻
Thank you!!

I always love coming to Funky Farm as it is so interactive, the staff are very friendly and very informative with all animals shown. My support Worker was a bit worried about the snakes this time( she was so petrified of touching/holding them. Well done Chris and team for a wonderful day out there at Funky Farm. I'll certainly be coming back for more.

We've booked a session. The tour gives you opportunities to have close contact with wild life animals where you usually can see them in cages in zoos. You can have a chance to touch wombats, wallabies, snake and more. We had a great time there. Be sure you get there early enough.

Took my 2.5 year old and we both loved it! A small group is toured around the venue and educated on animals before getting to have a hold!
My partner couldn't make it and I advised on entry and they refunded me without even asking. Great customer service.

Great experience, intimate small groups. Educational as well as being close and personal with the animals. This would be lovely for differently abled people and people in wheelchairs. I would definitely recommend this for my NDIS clients in future.

I recently booked a private tour for a group of 20 people for my son's 6th birthday and it was incredible. Our tour guide, Amos, was engaging, funny, passionate, knowledgeable and so much fun. The children were in absolute awe of him!

It is clear that Chris, Sam and their team run Funky Farm for all the right reasons. The animals, many that have been rescued, are so well cared for and handled with such love and respect. We have been many times and it's always so informative and fun.

The grounds are beautiful and being able to book a private tour is totally worth it. Check out their Facebook page to see all the wonderful work they do.

Thanks again Funky Farm for the best time. You're awesome!

The Funky Farm is such an incredible and unique place. You can tell that the animals are loved and well taken care of. You can also tell that the owners and tour guides love showing the animals to people and telling them their stories. I also love that they are committed to making the experience accessible for everyone regardless of ability. If you're thinking about visiting, hesitate no more and just book a tour. You won't regret it!

Funky Farm is a fabulous day out. I have been to many animal places over Australia & this was far the best l have ever been to especially for the price. It is very hands on with the beautiful animals and the best thing is if the animals don't want to do something they don't have to, which tells me how much they respect and love the animals that they have and l believe it is still growing
I can't wait to go back once they have finished more of their.enclosures. it also was very educational.
Our tour guide Amos was absolutely wonderful. Well done to Chirs & Sam for what they have done are still doing .
Good luck for the future guys.

This was a great experience. The team at the Funky Farm were fantastic. From arrival to finish they were friendly, informative and all the animals appeared to be in great condition and unbothered by our presence. Our toddler loved this unique experience, unmatched by any other farm/zoo we've ever been to. We highly recommend a visit to the Funky Farm.

Beautiful place with lots to see and experience. The guides are all kind, knowledgeable and super friendly. Highly recommend. Disability friendly. The best wildlife experience we have experienced so far and we have been to many zoos and sanctuaries all over the country. Will definitely go back very soon.
