The Heritage Balnarring

A fab venue for all age groups. Food is always delish, (my fave is the tender calamari), seating inside and outside on decking or in the grounds. The large grassy area outside is perfect for kids games, chasey, frisbee, cricket etc. Live music here too. Booking is essential.

Enjoyed a Sunday arvo session here last week. It was a spur of the moment decision which proved to be a good one, plenty of parking available in a decent sized car park, place was buzzing, table anywhere which didn’t have a reserved sign. Lots to offer inside and out, big play area for kids, lots happening.
Food was ordered at the bar, good pub food, the usual fare with a few specials, meals were generous and tasty, we had a Parma and Pie in a pot, both chicken dishes, both good quality, well presented, and served timely.
Staff worked tirelessly, never ending service it felt, they were very pleasant doing a wonderful job.
The band was going by 3 and played a great mix of music, a few dancers created a great atmosphere all round with rockin tunes.

Perfect food, wine and service! Recommend booking as fills quickly!

Went there today with the fam. Beer was wet and meals where hot. Prawns on ice where delightful and refreshing. Had a great time with heaps of room for the kids to play and kick the footy! Will be back

As a last minute choice for a post race dinner, we stopped into The Heritage and were not disappointed one bit.
Delicious food, awesome service by friendly staff and the open fire was just a bonus.
This could be our new favourite spot for a feed.

Great lunch out large area plenty of tables and lovely fireplaces. The bar and meal selection was excellent. The kids had a great (gum boots are a must when it rains as there is a lot of mud) live band on Sunday at 3pm

Stopped on our way home from a day out. Luckily managed to get a table without pre booking. Very busy Sunday @lunchtime. Thai beef salad and Chicken Parma both amazing. The atmosphere was great. Waitress and staff in general very attentive. Loved it. We will be back

Great country pub with a real family vibe, nice and relaxed with a lovely big beer garden. All the pub classics and then some. The real highlight for us was being offered a ride home (back to our Airbnb) by the lovely server Carly(?) when we went to leave as it was raining and we were on foot ♥

Overall alfresco experience was memorable - recent Sat. You need to show your vax cert to get in. Location is prime, loads of parking & staff were friendly & helpful. Had special of the day - scallops deep fried in batter, super fresh salad & very tasty fat chips. Serve $34 is pretty huge - consider sharing.

Glass of sparkling Foxy's Hangout $12 was good with above. Would have preferred scallops not to be deep fried but lightly tossed -my personal preference. Friend had fish & loved it too.

Went to this country style pub with a huge beer garden. 🌳
They heat it with a fire place thing which is cosy.

Tried the Pinot Noir. It’s very soft and a refreshing drink while waiting for your meal. 🍷

Got the chicken Parma. Nothing out of the ordinary for a Parma but satisfying. 🍗🍟🥗

Brilliant atmosphere and amazing, friendly staff
Came for work drinks and ended up staying for a few hours having dinner and delicious cocktails and drinks
Staff went above and beyond to ensure our table was taken care of, and other patrons looked to have the same level of service

Had dinner at The Heritage last night. Great food & excellent service by all of the staff. Massive shoutout to ALICIA for going above and beyond. Our group were unsuccessful getting an Uber at the end of the night and Alicia offered to drive us home. Incredibly kind gesture and we really appreciated it. Thank you. We will definitely be back!

The Heritage is a very lovely, family friendly restaurant and bar. The lawn and outdoors area are a very lovely and quiet place to have a drink or some food while the kids run around.

The atmosphere at The Heritage Balnarring the weekend that we went was amazing. Live music, courtyard of laughing groups of people and plenty of different areas to accommodate all.As busy as it was, the friendly staff were able to find us a table at short notice.

After a long day exploring the beautiful local sights, we were placed right by a toasty warm fireplace on a chilly, Wintery night. We were beyond grateful.

And the food! I can honestly say I haven't tasted a better Bangers and Mash. My partner enjoyed his dinner immensely and the kids cleaned every morsel of their plates, even the generous kid serves. Perhaps it was the perfect storm of wind swept faces, tired legs and hot fire but we found a brilliant end to a wonderful day at The Heritage. Thanks guys, we'll be back again.

The food was exceptional 👌 Wait time was a bit long as it was quite busy, but worth the wait and the staff were friendly and cheerful. Lovely casual atmosphere in a pretty setting with some live music 👌

Well I was taken here for my Valentines experience … omg 😆 is all I have to say … I’m in the middle of nowhere … awesome scenery…awesome ambience… fantastic food … had the calamari salad , the salad dressing is to die for fresh crisp n Devine … the beef pot pie was sooooo delicious .. well worth the drive .
The staff were all attentive and amazing service ..

I recently attended an event at this stunning venue and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and mouth-watering cuisine. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to host a wedding or any other special occasion.

Love this pub. Always have a dinner here when we camp nearby. Easy to get in and out and the outdoor deck is a great spot to have dinner no matter the weather.

Paula and her team have done such a great service to such an iconic venue. It is a huge congrats for keeping a venue family friendly with no pokies and great atmosphere
