Best Western Hobart

New, updated bathrooms. The rooms themselves are dated, but very clean and comfortable. Having the extra room for kids/snorers is absolutely fantastic! Such a central location, a drive through pick up spot, big lobbies, it's great for the price.

Whilst the outside appearance of Best Western Hotel in Hobart looks rather aged, our room was actually newly renovated. We stayed in this hotel from Jan. 12-16.
The staff member who checked us in was somewhat timid but the rest of the staff were ALL very nice and pleasant.
We had dinner at Ember’s bar and grill in the hotel. We ordered seafood and it was awesome. Shoutout to the head chef, Harold who encouraged us to try their cous cous and grilled chicken salad for lunch the following day. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS THAT WE ORDERED ANOTHER PLATE! I have never liked cous cous but because the chef was very nice and friendly we couldn’t seem to say NO to him. In the end , we were very thankful that we tried it,
Would I stay in the same hotel again in future?
Definitely!
Would I eat at their restaurant again?

Nice and clean hotel in Hobart CBD. Very close to Salamanca market, Hobart port/dock, Art Centre, Maritime Museum, Botanical Garden and shopping hub.

the first time at this best western hotel. Discovered the new chef the food is probably the best I have had here or overseas. I wish there were more than five stars. It should be tasted.

Came here for dinner with family and got the seafood boil. the service was prompt, the staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. shoutout to harold who made our food tonight. will definitely come back again the next time i am in hobart.

Good affordable hotel. Older style hotel that's been renovated. Good for groups abs families.

Hotel was great value for money. Rooms are nice, bathrooms recently renovated and were nicely maintained and clean.
Good and convenient location, everything within walking distance.

Stayed a few nights end Jan 2023. Great location walking distance for shopping, Salamander Market etc. Taxis readily available. Rooms very comfortable just need some comfy relaxing chairs. Very friendly & helpful staff. Parking available. Highly recommend this motel.

We recently had a 5 day stay at Best Western Hobart. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel was centrally located with shops and restaurants only a short walk away. The hotel bar area is a great place to relax and although we didn't eat any meals at the restaurant, the lunch menu looked great and reasonably priced. The service at the hotel was excellent. My son accidentally left a game controller in the room which he realised just as we were about to board our flight. We rang the hotel and they put it in an express delivery bag for him. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a very comfortable room with a luxurious bathroom and a beautiful view of Mount Wellington. It was spotless, all staff is always ready to help and the guest laundry is a great asset.

Really awesome place to stay,very central.the hotel has a bar and the man that served us was so fantastic,he was so busy and working over his hours and still soldered on.will definitely return. The den is also a beautiful bar to visit with amazing margaritas

Had a lovely stay Accompanied by my daughter and 2 grandchildren. Very clean comfortable and pleasant rooms. Great buffet style breakfast Very varied and delicious food Dinner at the restaurant catering for Vegetarians and the children was excellent. Helpful friendly professional staff from front of house, reception, waiting and cleaning staff. The service was great. Very central within walking distance for all of our requirements Great parking . Will definitely return

My partner and I stayed for five nights and we were very impressed. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The meals were great and the Staff were warm, friendly and most helpful. They went out of their way for a dietary requirement we requested. Hotel was in walking distance to the CBD and so much more. Totally recommend staying here.

The front desk staff was really helpful as the phone in my room was not working, and I forgot to bring slippers, they sort out everything in just 10 mins in a professional manner. Also the house keeping lady make my room sparkling clean. When we are in our room, she politely asked for our available time for cleaning I feel like we are well look after here. Thank you very much. Just one point on buffet breakfast - if there is fresh salad available would be great !
