We purchased an iphone from JB Hi-Fi Hobart and after two weeks of use the main camera lens and torch had stopped working. Called Apple support and was booked into the Hobart Apple repair centre. When I turned up at the repair centre I found them most unhelpful and was told that the phone would need to be sent off and that I would be without the phone for 6 days. Far from practical from a work perspective. Was also told that if it was a software issue I would have to pay a service fee as we had not purchased from them. Went back to JB Hi-Fi in desperation and the two staff members that served me - Liam and Tim - could not have been more helpful. They couldn't be sure whether it was a software or hardware issue - but swapped over the phone at no charge and helped with the set up of the new phone. Brilliant service and I really appreciated their patience.

Just had the exceptional service of James. He assisted my sister to buy her first ever new phone! Every step of the way he was patient kind and as transparent as my new screen protector. Payrise for james xx tschuss

Went there as my DJI mini 2 SE managed to fried itself. Jack and the whole team were amazing and helped us replace the whole thing. Super efficient and friendly! Would recommend this place to buy any kinds of electronics as they've always got your back when things go wrong!

Lovely staff, super helpful, and always so kind. Was having issues deciding between two products, and the staff didn't rush me and explained the difference. The security guard did a pretty intensive bag check, which was annoying (I didn't steal anything). Also, check out is often fast! Staff are more than eager to help

Went in yesterday and the manager was very helpful in assisting me to swap the incorrect item I’d purchased for the correct one. Even though the store was packed, he took the time to explain the product functions to me and I could tell that customer satisfaction was a business priority. I also noticed this manager guiding one of the staff members (possibly a new employee in-training) through a computer procedure in an informative, methodical and calm manner which was great to see, and absolutely the best way to deal with the busy environment.

The employee being shown the procedure also appeared to have great customer interaction skills.

Honestly, wasn’t expecting this level of service when I walked into the crowded store. Well done JB!

As a foreigner, even when I don't understand English, I am lucky to meet the assistance of a warm-hearted and active clerk. His name is Robin. Because of him, I have experienced very good service and feelings here. Compared with other shop, I am more willing to come here from far away for shopping. I am very grateful that Hobart has such a dedicated clerk.
