Sante

Staying at Thredbo for my partners birthday. The first week in February and it was freezing cold and snowing. The middle of summer and Thredbo mountain was capped with snow! So many places to eat here, so we picked Sante at random. We weren't disappointed. The lovely lady serving us even surprised my partner with a free glass of champagne for her birthday. A nice touch!
Food was great. We both had the top Wagu steak and it was cooked to perfection. So tender. Softest piece of meat I've ever had. The steak knife sliced through under its own weight almost. Served with a yummy croquette. The cheese bread for entree was so good too. Beautiful food, great service and perfect atmosphere for a wintery night. Totally enjoyable and highly recommended!

Our favourite restaurant in Thredbo. I can recommend my prawns and blue cod. My companions were all well pleased with their choices. Pleasant atmosphere, sensational food. The tiramisu cocktail was insane but very moreish.

It was a very busy night but the team handled well and still gave me a seat on a cold 🥶 night. The staff are friendly and helpful. The meals were served timely considering the full house of guests. Serving is reasonable and tastes is good. I had a main (vegetarian dish), dessert and ginger beer. Thanks team

We had an excellent meal tonight! The taste and quality of the food as well as the portions were outstanding.

We had the cheese balls (must have), BBQ Ribs and a few different other cuts and a kids meal. Enormous amount (for us) and so tasty. The “garnish” was a beautifully dressed portion of delicious green salad. Can’t wait to to return to try more on the menu.

The service was exceptional even at a very busy start of service. They fit us in to a free table without a prior booking with a generous smile.

One of the best places on the mountain you could eat . The best wine and amazing menu . They are extremely child friendly also and the service is fast with no compromise on the standard of food absolutely 5 star on this mountain. So greatfull and super helpful.

We had a fantastic meal hear tonight. I had the potato and leak soup and the Malaysian chicken curry which were absolutely Devine! Besides the outstanding food and fast service we had the perfect experience. Highly recommended

Wonderfully delicious dinner where dish after dish was a fabulous surprise with great presentation and sensational flavour. Staff were very friendly and attentive - we thoroughly recommend Sante for a fantastic dining experience that will delight for sure, and leave you wondering how soon it is that you can 'Sante' again!!!!

We loved Sante! The service was excellent and the food was fantastic! The waitresses were very friendly and accomodating to serving a family with young children. The meals came out quickly and the food was fresh, delicious and perfectly cooked. We loved it so much that we went there two nights in a row during at 3 night stay at Thredbo. Highly Recommend!! A heaven for meat lover. But it has a wide range of sides/vege choices. Kids menu was available. Polenta chips were amazing. Looooooong wine list.

Had dinner here on the last night of the ski season, and hadn't dined here for about two years. I was a little disappointed that the Churrasco style BBQ was no longer offered, but that quickly faded when I saw the awesome dishes on offer in the a la carte menu. The Brazilian dish theme lives on in the menu, with at least the quesadillas, fresh salad/salsa style sides, and the "seafood stew" (proper name escapes me). I had the cheese bread, quesadillas, rice and black beans, and pork ribs, whose serving size was fantastic.

The best part of the night was the very kind and cheerful young blonde waitress, who was a fellow person who stutters/once stuttered...once we'd shared that fact, we had some great chats while I was ordering (and trying to decide!) I ordered FAR TOO MUCH for just me, and went home abso' full, satisfied, and with dinner in a container for the following night. Three Thumbs up for Sante! Till next year...ciao for now!

Excellent food (had the sirloin with croquette), wonderful wine selection — but the treat was the staff. We were greeted warmly and the gentleman who served us all night was wonderful, accommodating and treated us like old lost friends. Cannot recommend enough, well worth the price.

Hands down the best restaurant in Thredbo. Seriously you must not miss the opportunity to dine there. The dishes are creative, the staff and atmosphere welcoming and the cooking rivals Sydney restaurants.

Fantastic Food, the manager- Matt was so kind and friendly and hospitable . He ensures top food and top brews to the table as soon as the busy staff can. Despite every seat being filled. Service was never but minutes away from every dish. The food was great tender meat and dessert was amazing. I would recommend this place to eat. We ate till we were almost in a food coma 🤣

Dined @ Sante Thredbo 22 December 2020 and was not disappointed! I had the blue cod and prawns. Perfect sized dish for me and extremely tasty. My husband had the rump steak (medium rare cooked to perfection 👌). Huge drinks list, wines, cocktails, spirits. Dessert, well we had to have the churros.

Great meal. Very friendly staff, excellent service. The staff members provided fantastic service. We came at a busy period, the staff took our phone number and called us once a table was free. Highly recommend venue and staff

Staff are immaculate & cannot be more helpful.
The whole experience is just so authentic and the food is just divine!
Definitely go on a very hungry stomach as you will have trouble walking out after being so full of delicious food and drink!
Ps: the mojitos are bang on and make the experience all the more special! ;)

Having a Child who is coeliac, eating out is a minefield filled with disappointment. Restaurants either refuse to accommodate, or waitresses roll their eyes, or they advertise gluten free, but when you question them it’s clear they actually have no idea what it means. So this place was a breath of fresh air! The food was great, so much, so yum, but they were also totally accommodating. We love this place thank you so much for an amazing meal.
