4 Mile Beach Lookout

The picture postcard view of the 4-Mile Beach. And it offers possibilty to participate in a scientific project if you take a picture of the beach and send it to the scientists doing coastline research.

Absolutely loved the views out over 4 Mile Beach. The first shuttle bus driver didn’t know what we were talking about when we asked to go here. Luckily the second driver knew exactly where we wanted to go, and was even happy to come back in 15 min to pick us up again.

Scenic location where you can sunbake on the soft sand, or hire a deck chair and relax and a beach umbrella. There was even an early morning beach yoga class.

It was a beautiful beach to stop have breakfast and take in the view.

Great Beach lookout and wonderful walking trails on the edge of the cliff all around Port Douglas to the Marina!

Great look out to see the beach. Bit of a hike but my 4 year old was more then capable of doing it. Plenty of parking available.

A spectacular lookout with coastal views up and down the beach.

I think this is a really pleasant place to walk, jog, run or just hang out. The Cliff Walk is rewarding but has some climbs and descents some with stairs. There are good views. At the town end of the cliff walk in the late afternoon the Sun filters through the aerial roots of a large fig tree.

It's a beautiful beach to be with your loved ones. The lookout experience was also wonderful 😊

Most beautiful view in all Port Douglas 😍 popular little spot. Lots of people capturing this extraordinary ocean view.. how about those mountains though ⛰ 😍😍🌄🏝🏞

We grabbed a coffee at Surfies on the corner of Mowbray Street and The Esplanade and headed for the lookout. A reasonably steep climb at first but flattens out at the top. You can walk all the way around the hill to the other side of Port or do what we did and sit there and soak in the views of the amazing town and beaches.

Gorgeous view, well maintained pathway, easy climb well worth the walk!

Amazing little spot to watch the sunrise, make sure you check the weather and wind direction. Didn't stop us this morning though... perfect 😍🤙👌
