Friendly staff, great location, the restaurant was very clean. The food tasted amazing, we ordered southern cauliflower with vegan sauce, pumpkin sandwich, barramundi - fish and chips, salmon and asparagus quiche
Love the salad that accompanied most dishes. Big portion so it’s easy if you want to share with someone

There are a few options for vegetarian and or vegan

I would love to go back to try the other dishes

We also had the ice cream which was really good - looked like it was homemade

Lunch on a beautiful sunny Saturday, with views of the lake. Perfectly cooked calamari and a glass of local wine..

So lovely to be able to grab some hot take away drinks on boxing day before walking around the Botanical gardens. Lovely service & so kind with our kids - of course they wanted marshmallows & to choose the colour 🤩🤣

Excellent service and very nice coffee ☕ bit expensive though $5.79 for small cup, Infront of lake wendouree. Great atmosphere.

My go to place for Devonshire tea as well as light meals n good coffee. The scones are huge, see photo.
Situated bt Lake Wendouree, both inside n outside dining avail.
Warning tho does get busy at times, best to book weekends esp.

I was walking through the park, feeling like a hot chocolate. Little did I know that I was about to receive a hot chocolate so amazing that words do not give it justice. The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel so welcome, and my Lamington was just beautiful. I will definitely be going back.

Have been meaning to go here for quite sometime now. Food was amazing, couldn’t indulge in conversation. Ahaha. View was great and staff were nice. Would be coming back soon.

Walks

Very nice location by the lake. Outdoor seating suitable for those with dogs. We had beautiful barramundi and chips, seafood linguine, calamari and a chicken avo sandwich. All served quickly

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast this morning, prompt service, friendly staff, meals cooked to perfection, live entertainment and a dance was the finale to a fabulous New Years Day morning.

A great restaurant with great staff, beautiful views & food, especially the Barramundi serve, would like to come back to enjoy again and again 👍👍🎉

Absolutely delicious food I tried the butter chicken and although a little salty and very spicy it was delicious with the cob loaf also. The sidewinder fires are awesome and I would highly recommend the beef burger with the istra bacon. Istra bacon is source from daylesford and is my fav bacon of anywhere. The kids meal actually got eaten by my 3 year old so it caters for everyone. A little pricey but a good meal.

You could do either dining from the restaurant or taking away some hot beverage from a kiosk. Lovely and scrumptious menu all day long. not far away from a Ballarat Botanical Garden. On weekend you could enjoy a little farmer market or walking along the Lake Wendouree.

Quality food. Lovely place overlooking Lake Wendoree to take your parents to.
Steak sandwich was very delicious very tender and the scones jam and coffee excellent. Very enjoyable.
It's the only restaurant on the lake across from the Botanical Gardens.
You have the tram going past and playgrounds plenty of parking

We had a nice lunch and the picture is my cup of hot chocolate. Friendly staff and reasonable price.
