Beechworth Bakery Ballarat

Delicious pies and dessert. We were in Ballarat and were recommended Beechworth Bakery by good friends and we were not disappointed. Delicious food!

Impressive from the outside, just as impressive inside. Great friendly service, excellent quality food.

Beesting cake was delicious! Srilanken pie said two chillis for heat but I'd say more like one chilli worth. I asked for pie to be heated in microwave 30 seconds because I like them piping hot. Toasted sandwiches (ham, cheese, tomato) were tasty because they had been generously buttered (had a bite of someone's). But next time I go, I'll skip straight to dessert. Children's section was helpful too.

Cosy and welcoming. Had a German donut for the 1st time. Beautiful coffee and clean seats. The Barista was attentive to all. Plenty of spaces and bright atmosphere.

Defs an easy 10/10 restaurant!!! Food is freshly made and hearty, coffee tastes awesome, staff are nice, and the restaurant is clean 💯💯

Huge bakery with lots of choices - for the sweet or savoury tooth! Choices range from pies, pastries, donuts, toasties, éclairs, wraps, sandwiches, scones and coffee. Our favourite was the Apple Turnover and of course the Beesting! Not too sweet. Just perfect. Smooth and delicious. Ned Kelly's pie is packed full of meat filling. Lots of seating places. We were at the bakery twice today!! If you want a calm and peaceful breakfast while reading the papers with your coffee, you have to be there around 7am onwards. Plus you get a whole range of choices. We came back a second round around noon time, it was super busy and many of the popular choices were sold out. A simple place to feed all different taste buds. Reasonably priced.

We come here often and all staff are very lovely + helpful, especially one girl "Mon" who's always very kind and has a very positive attitude that brightens up our mornings. Also the food is always amazing :) #1 beechworth fans

Highly recommended... Love this place. Will go again. Friendly staff. Cleanliness. Decorations inside the backery. Sitting arrangements was just perfect. toilets were clean. I've tried all vegetarian items there and my most favorites are MEDITERRANEAN HARVEST ,BUSHMAN'S PASTIE, many more..... Almost everything 😋😋😋.
With this covid situation they have really nice sitting arrangements with social distancing rule and time limit as well.

Impressive Mexican Chicken Wrap with tomato, lettuce, red onion, and sweet chili sauce.
Delicious like a real homemade food. Fresh ingredients. Cozy and lively place... clean toilet... Feel like eating at home.

There are very few good bakeries left and this is one of them. The pies and cakes are delicious. It's the perfect place to stop for lunch on a long road trip.

Another must stop when visiting Ballarat.

Loads of parking behind the building, with direct access from that carpark too.

There are lots of seating options and it is disabled friendly too.

There are some low gluten options available (they are gluten free but can't say they are gluten free as they cannot guarantee there is no cross contamination. I am celiac and haven't had any issues so far).

Staff are friendly too.

Really nice bakery. Plenty of choices of pies, sandwiches and desserts. Lots of seating available and even a little play area for the kids. Vegie pie options available.

Absolutely tasty treats from pies and sausage rolls to bee stings, chocolate eclairs and my favourite the Bavarian cream ring, bakeries all over Victoria I just wish that there was one located in Adelaide.

Always scrumptious food here, the only problem is choosing what to eat. They have a rewards program here too. Just scan your card every time you go and receive real dollars as reward. I was so surprised to receive $9 off my order as we only go here a few times a year. It all adds up people and in these trying times every dollar that stays in my pocket is a bonus. Great stuff Beechworth Bakery!

Mushroom pie is the best I’ve ever had.. I’ve been to “award winning” bakeries that wernt as good as this place! Savoury and sweet foods were amazing! The service is great! Very high turn over so every thing is fresh. But just Needs someone on table duty, to clear and wipe tables at least every half hour.. other than that.. fantastic!

Very good quality food! Would stop by here again in the future. Except some of the prices are a little much for what you get.

Great bakery . The bee sting was just amazing. I ate it before I could take a photo . If you haven't tried a bee sting before do yourself a favour and go try one . The chocolate eclair looks so delicious 😋 The coffee was ok .

The best bakery in town. It’s always a staple whenever I visit Ballarat. Highly recommend!
