First visit, looking for a book, and a young staff member called Crystal was very helpful.
Full of Christmas products. Book section was very well stocked.

Awesome old school layout. A pleasure to shop there. Store was welcoming and organised, aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. Staff were friendly and came accross like they loved their job. A stark contrast to the Bendigo store of which the staff are unhappy, refurb is an absolute mess and a once great store completely ruined.

Ordered an office chair whilst in car park so i could use Zip payment. Went to service desk and Aaron was fantastic and got my order straight away so i didn't need to wait. The girls on the service desk tonight 28th April 2023 were all so wonderful, asking if i needed help. Very very friendly staff. You guys made my night. I went to Big W to get a list of very specific kids items and a worker asked if I needed some help. I showed her my list and she went to the back of the store to locate the new stock as well as found me another staff member (for a different area) who did the same. She warm, polite and was super helpful.

Great Customer service

My daughter and I were in Big W today. We were wandering around looking for some stationery and unable to locate what we were after. We found the very lovely Natalie in the store. She helped us with our query and was very cheery and chatty. Even though we couldn't get what we needed in the store, Natalie was wonderful and offered us an alternate solution. Natalie is a true example of customer service and she is a credit to Big W. There should be more people like her in the store and in any other retail store, for that matter. Thanks Natalie. I ordinarily hate shopping of any sort, but you made it a whole lot easier.

Shopping is online at the moment.. easy to order online.. You receive a text message when your order is ready to pick up.. great service here and staff are always kind and friendly.. when the shop is open Ballarat BigW has a really good garden centre.. plants are cheaper here and quality nursery stock.. I've bought roses with beautiful strong scents.. pencil pines at bargain prices around $11. Their $3 pots are unusual varieties and vary from season to season. Dry doggy food is cheaper than supermarkets.. very competitive in price
