Golden Point Hotel

We had our boys first holy communion reception done at the hotel . I am 100% satisfied and grateful with their service and above and beyond what I had expected . They let me decorate the areas and make our day special
The staff have been amazing and the food was delicious too. I was impressed by the customer service and the way how they handled our requests to facilitate our function was appreciative . Deb the manager was amazing and very understandable. Erick was also helpful. All the team members are very pleasant , approachable and always had beautiful welcoming smile on their face . This wasn’t the first time we had the functions snd every time the service gets better and am extremely happy with their service delivery. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Deb and get team members for helping us out to create a wonderful and memorable evening fir our family

Really amazing atmosphere we went in around 7pm got seated quietly meals came out hot promptly and drinks also the staff were very friendly and the play area. Has a seating area to watch the kids

We have never been before and loved everything about it! The food was amazing, the service was so fast and very lovely! The kids play area was such a huge bonus for us because it meant that we could have adult conversation!!!

Definitely would recommend this hotel for a meal or a celebration dinner. Could not fault anything. The food was fantastic, it was more than sufficient and it was lovely and hot. The staff were fantastic, friendly, obliging, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely go back again when up that way from Melbourne. If I could rate them higher I would. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

Terrific family venue with high quality food at very affordable prices.

Is this the best pub in the world? Far from it. Does it have the greatest food? No. What it does have is friendly and helpful staff, good food for a decent price (especially if eating at the sports bar) and a massive screen that was streaming the cricket. Excellent feed and a few drinks. Had an excellent evening.

Great place to eat. Lots of options for vegans! (Not usual in Ballarat) And seniors. Good meals and great service. Will definitely go here again and bring family and friends.

Pleasantly surprised at how good our dining experience at the Golden Point was. Food and staff/service were excellent and of a high standard. Will definitely be attending there more often. Recommend the Espresso Martini!

Unfortunately due to a highly Autistic child our dining experience was very short but food was very delicious and very quickly served.. from walk in to walk out we were there 35minutes and had entres and medium well rib eyes.

We aren’t local but if we were we would definitely dine again.

Food amazing and quick even when busy. Been a few times now. Play area for kids is fantastic and Ballarat needs more places like this. Only let down was all the gaming machines in the kids play area, it just ate the money.

Great place, great food. Pricey but special nights each week. Once you're in the bistro you the gaming area feels forever away.

Dad ( Alan Wood) and l are regular diners so it was very easy to book for his 90th Birthday Party because we always enjoy the meals. The feedback l had on the day from party guests said they enjoyed their meals. Thankyou.

Have eaten here several times during the last two weeks with a group of no less than five. Meals have been excellent apart from one time chips were a little cold.

10/10 for meal presentation and taste. We ordered Rib Eye, lamb shoulder, Ora King Salmon & Portuguese Chicken (warning chilli very spicy but nothing i couldn't handle) Zagames is a family friendly food chain. This place has a fantastic play area for little kids to run around and play while mum and dad can enjoy their meal. The service was really good compared to what other reviews say, and the wait time for all our meals wasn't long at all.

A fantastic venue for dinner with the kids and family. Reasonably priced and large portions. The play area is the BEST in Victoria. To top it off, Ben the magician was AMAZING!!! He delighted the kids with his Incredible magic tricks.

Was an excellent experience dining out with family. The staff were magnificent and always smiling, genuinely so... The meals were spot on.

Our experience here was beyond amazing. The food came out fast with generous sized portions. The service was exceptional - everyone was so lovely and accommodating. They had paid a magician to go around and entertain the patrons for the night and I can not praise Ben the magician enough for how incredible the experience was! Hours later and we are still going on about the magic show!!! Blew our minds. Thanks for a great experience.

The food was lovely and the waitresses were Friendly definitely my cousin Emily and the manager was pretty nasty and not friendly at all but rude and the other workers were nice and it was really nice and clean in there and it was kid friendly and the play ground was a good help out to all mum's and dad's who have kids gets them tired for bed thanks alot hope to come back again we had a grate time cheers

Great night out . Good food . Nice atmosphere.

12 people dined meals were out quickly and everyone was happy with what they ordered. The only downside was they took a long time to clear the table of the plates. Thankyou
