If you’re after authentic Filipino cuisine, then give Enelssie a go! The food was delicious, well presented and serving sizes were decent. The staff there were also very friendly. My favourite dish was the sisig.

Best Filipino food experience so far. Food did not only taste delicious and generous serving but were also well presented to make them feast to the eyes. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is cool vibe. It’s worth the drive all the way from the East side of Melbourne. I would definitely come back and try the other menu 👍🏼

It was our first time dining at Enelssie and definitely will not be our last 😍

We ordered longanisa, bangus and the meat platter for brunch. The longanisa tasted like the actual ones we have back home. We’re fond of buying filo longanisa in asian stores here but they just don’t taste as good as what they have in Enelssie.
Meat platter: meat just melts in your mouth. Love the crunch of the bagnet and the sauce of the spare ribs. They even gave us extra side dishes (ensaladang tomato) which was also delicious!
For the drinks, we had avocado shake and sagot gulaman. The avo shake needed a little bit of sweetness but I don’t mind. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.
Can’t wait to try other dishes in their menu. 🤍✨

Was invited to a friend's party. There was food for days....... substantial is a truly underrated word. Here's a sample of what their boodle fight looks like. We couldn't finish the food, the portions were quite generous. Will def come back again to try their a la carte dishes!

EDIT:
Came back again finally and it took me way too long. Brought my non-Filipino friends with me this time and they raved they had to tapao. We had a boodle fight again and the staff/owners were so kind to make an adjustment for us as there were only just three of us and boodle fights needed a minimum of 5 people, just to offset the cost. We met the owners who were a couple - Anthony and Tina - and they were incredibly nice and warm people who deserve their success! Loved how they both were very hands on - doing everything around the cafe, no task was too small for them - and they would talk very nicely with their staff, and visit tables and chat with the patrons. When praised Anthony gives all credit to God 💜 Overall a very nice dining experience with amazing Filipino food - possibly best in Melb if not in the whole of AU - will def keep bringing friends here to try!!!

Easily my favourite Filipino restaurant in Melbourne. There’s not that many options at the moment for Filipino cuisine in Melbourne say in comparison to Sydney but Enelssie shines through. Flavours are phenomenal and we love the live music on Friday nights, it just adds to the vibe so much. Have not had a bad dish, everything is fresh and yum. Whenever any of my friends want to try Filo food, this is now my new go to. I just wish they had a closer branch to the CBD but well worth the travel. Don’t be afraid to ask the staff about the food so you can get the best experience while there.

So we found Enelssie Filipino restaurant tucked away in Burnside Heights. Brought us back to a lot of delicious memories of home-cooked Filipino cuisine. Very welcoming staff including Anthony, the owner. Don't miss out on Pancit, Bagnet and Laing. Delicious!

A pretty laid back place to eat out during the day(haven’t tried dining at night).
Ordered their
1⃣Kare Kare Bagnet- Well-presented, crispy pork bagnet, did not disappoint.
2⃣Pork BBQ skewers - Highly recommend! It was so good that I ordered a take away.
It tasted similar to Andok’s BBQ (if you’re familiar with it).
Paired with Garlic rice, which for me complemented our overall experience.
Great choice of music and friendly staffs.
💯pram and wheelchair friendly
🅿Has enough parking space for the cafe.

I want to thank my love for discovering this place. Close to Home so I decided to take mum here today.
I ordered the pork bagnet for mum and my all time favorites crispy fried chicken.
The reason why I ordered the fried chicken is because it would have been the decider/make or break for me whether I'd come back again or not.
Gee they didn't disappoint!! Both dishes were spot on for flavor, generous sizing and presentation.
In particular, the fried chicken was a mixture between Jollibee and KFC fusion. Boneless chicken thigh Maryland. The way I like it :)
Not only is this place a Filipino restaurant for any time of the day (morning coffees/brunch and dinner) but they also provide bike repair and maintenance services.
I got to meet and speak with Anthony! (Owner) who's also a bike enthusiast such as myself.
What a great guy! And the idea of filo food/all things bikes and indoor plants - man you couldn't have made my day happier.
What a great idea!! I wish the business well Anthony!!

I swear we ordered some more! But this chicken inasal kare kare came out first so had the time to take a photo.. and the rest we jumped on to it quickly! Foods are great and we ordered the ala chicken joy meal and halo halo, they're are so on point. Staff are great and friendly too, since we can't eat pork, they are so nice to accommodate to change the usual pork bagnet kare kare to chicken inasal kare kare. Highly recommend this resto and will surely come back!

What an amazing first time for myself trying Filipino food.
Went with some friends and each got a meal each and a few things to share. The balance of each flavour and portions were spot on.
We got the beef tapa, cebu chorizo; with garlic rice, milkfish, bbq pork skewers and kare kare bagnet.
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and would definitely come back again.

I liked the pork bbq and crispy pork belly. The servings are huge and home made pickled vege is the best. The beef tapa is sweet and not my liking, I would prefer the traditional flavour with soy and vinegar. Service is lovely and I even exchange my rice to extra pickled vegetable. I will surely come back to have a go on the pork bbq.

Amazing food! Fantastic chef! (He is so lovely to talk to! And his chicken inasal is really lovely, Definitely a must try! )
our family was very happy and can’t believe we didn’t try it sooner as we frequently drive past. We had never tried this cuisine but it’s our new favourite ❤

Highly recommend, we couldn’t fault anything! Sizzling Bulalo & Dinuguan were our favourites, but the Pinakbet was also really good! Will be back to try more for sure!
