Beautiful store connected to coffee shop with delicious food!
Plenty of items of all sorts to pick from: books, clothes, crystals, decoration, candles, oils, incense, jewellery, gifts and more.
Easy to browse but hard to want to leave haha
Although the store is under the name of PADMALIGHT on Google maps, the sign outside actually says LOTUS TREE.
We found everything we were looking for and even more! I recommend

It took awhile to find this place as it goes under the name of "lotus tree". It is an amazing huge shop that is filled with endless self-help, spiritual enlightment and nature books, crystals, so much jewelry, tapestry ethnic bags, boho clothing, pillow cases, ornaments and so much more i could not list it all, I bought quite a few things in here. I wish I had spent a bit longer in here! But was on a mission to see the rest of hobart. I love this shop! And next time I am in town I will spend a bit more time here. The lady was also very friendly.

I love Babylon Bookshop!!!! The staff are super friendly and so helpful. They have such a beautiful shop, I strongly recommend this shop if you are interested in self discovery, meditation etc. I love this place, could spend all day here.

From the Berkana bookshop in Launceston to padamalight in Hobart both these shops are legend. You will always find something unique in this cave of treasures. One of my favourite shops.....Silk Road was another. That shop has since closed. Thumbprint these shops were Legend............

I went to Padamalight and it has changed its name to the Lotus Tree. Same great range of products from candles to clothes,silver jewellery,and a range not found in other stores. It is an icon of all things,hippy,gypsy, or if you prefer a store for unique taste!!!

A beautiful place! Great choice of spiritual and ezoteric items. Lovely atmosphere and delightful staff. My go-to place when I am in Hobart.

I do love the little shop. I have bought a couple of Sing Bowls among other things.

I can always get the incense I love from here and I love to see what new things they have instore.
