Hobart Showground Sunday Market

First time for a long time we popped into the Hobart Showgrounds, will make sure we come earlier next time and spend more time.

Come check out the waffles and Dutch pancakes,waffle dogs and best hotdogs 🙂

Great trash and treasure. I found all the things ibwas looking for. Great first day out with my walker.

The market is very well organised except parking now a MAJOR problem ad a lot of construction going on .A LARGE number of stalls and VARIETY of products. A very welk run coffee shop in corner of market .plenty of seating great f aamily run business. Quality food very inexpensive plent of variety good coffee. No waiting unusual these days but oodles of staff a must visit

I've been going to this market for 10 years, there's plenty of parking, consideration for the disabled, ATM if needed and beautifully presented stalls including Maddy's Music Stall that caters for all tastes and service with a smile. There are food and coffee vans, second hand goods and even live bird sales via Shaun's corner pet (rabbits, pheasants, chooks and other little birds) stall and again, service with a smile. Worth a look if you're new to the area and need odds and sodds at great prices. Let's not forget the plant stalls too, great prices lovely products & service with a smile. Highly Recommended.

Great place for a night in the motorhome /toilet/ shower block heated & sparkling clean like new condition, the caretaker extremely helpful to ensure our can was level tokens are needed for showers $2 token for 5 minute shower, Garman had problem finding entry to the Showgrounds best entry is behind Bunnings VB 2 Howard St.

I love this market and always find something worthwhile buying. A huge variety and I’m going to be sorry to see it go in September 🙁

I love a good trash and treasure and grabbed myself a few bargains plus a really awesome burger fresh off the griddle, a nice way to spend a lazy Sunday morning.

Great market. Not sure how much longer there going to be there which is a shame

Plenty pf parking if you reach late ish. Many things to buy ranging from plants to second hand tools, candles to t-shirts.

Great handmade hats and bags .The plants are awesome cacti very creative and unique. Check this stall for great gifts or something special for yourself

First time at this market. An amazing book stall with second hand philosophy books.
Lots of stuff at the market. And well worth a look

We used live at showgrounds 2009.left 2010 it was really good not far from shops.glenorchy we lov it and we go to market every Sunday because we don't have a car my husband lost his licence 1yr.6mths so we walk to market every Sunday ok

This is such a fantastic market. I will be very sad to see it end.

Was a great market with loads of bargains... great food and extremely yummy home cooked cakes, fudge and biscuits to by....

First time here, loved it! Lots of bargains, something for everyone. Will definitely be back.

Great variety of permanent stalls in and out of the shed, and a heap of casuals outside the day I was there.
