Travelodge Hotel Hobart

Booked stay for my mum who is in her 80's. The staff took great care of her by listening and helping accordingly throughout the week. Mum often commented on the friendly staff, clean rooms and nice lobby. The location is perfect with the harbour and city at your doorstep. Very fortunate to have booked this hotel, real value for money. Many thanks to all staff again for taking great care of mum.

The room service is great except they don't offer enough coffee, sugar and milk and you need to repeatedly ask at Reception. Parking is $15 per night (payable in advance) with no guarantee that you'll get a spot in the secure garage. No meals available other than breakfast - $20 if you book, $25 if you just walk in each morning.
The view from our room was of Macquarie St, nice if you like the old buildings and it was quiet due to the double glazing.

I was extremely happy with my stay here. Clean room, good view, great location, reasonable price, good breakfast at a reasonable price. I was really happy to have the microwave, kitchen sink and cutlery, plus cups and glasses, including wine glasses. I bought the makings of one meal at the little supermarket at Salamanca and was able to enjoy it in my room at my little table looking out at the view. Delightful. Just a short walk to Salamanca, the docks and the mall.

I arrived early and exhausted. The lovely lady at reception asked me if I was ok, as I looked tired. I told her about my week, and she told me that they were going to give me a free upgrade to a bigger room with a view, which I was very grateful for. I paid for breakfast for the morning of my check out.... that was delicious, too. It's very central and within walking distance to just about everything in the CBD and Salamanca.

Really nice place to stay in the heart of Hobart. Staff were friendly, room was great. Nothing bad to say whatsoever.

Top marks all round. Excellent service from the friendly staff. Rooms small but extremely comfortable for a city stay. Walking distance to all attractions, tours and visitor centre. Our very clean room was serviced every day during our stay. The bathroom toiletries were really good and I loved the set up. Having a laundry on site to use was another added bonus. Dont be fooled thinking of the okf Travelodge the upgrades are fantastic. Highly recommended 👌

This Travelodge probably had the most high-tech rooms and service ever. Wireless charging pads with 2 USB ports and a full kitchen (with no oven/stove). This room was enough for a family of three. (although I'm sure there are rooms with more beds). On ground floor there is a mini bar with chocolate and drinks and on the 1st floor there is a breakfast buffet. The 2nd floor holds a gym.

Perfect stay. Cleanliness, feel, views, location, service and breakfast room.

Needed a room at short notice due to the birth of my son, Mohammed was fantastic and made the whole experience a breeze.

All staff were extremely helpful, kind and welcoming. Needed a last minute booking due to flight cancellations and had no issues with booking. The room was clean and the beds were extremely comfy. Thank you for making my stay so smooth (bonus: room had a microwave & guest laundry haha) 😃

Excellent place to stay in the heart of Hobart's CBD. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and excellent service. Our booking wasn't on the system but we were offered a better room for the same price as our original booking.

Room was essential and what I needed for a short stay. Experience was superb thanks to the lovely Claire that works there. What a beautiful, kind hearted soul who goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Give that lady a raise 👏🏾 Thank You Claire for making the stay for our team great.

It is a simple yet uneventful place to stay. When my son got hurt and was in the hospital they worked with price that would help us out with staying another few days. I did not even ask for a special price they gave it out of the kindness of their hearts. I will stay there again.

Great to deal with, nice room and good location

Fantastic location, walking distance to Salamanca Square and markets, shops and CBD. Surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars. Rooms were clean. Parking is available onsite for an extra $15 per day.

Its a budget friendly option in the city centre but don't expect anything premium.

Great for our last night in Tasmania, had all we needed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and hotel was immaculately clean and comfortable. Close to some nice restuarants and shops and short walk to the information centre/red hop on hop off bus and all the waterfront, also very short walk to Salamanca Place for shops, restaurants and market.
