Lagoon House Restaurant

We savored a selection of daily specials, starting with the prawn and duck money bags. These appetizers were a perfect blend of savory duck and succulent prawns, a tantalizing start to our meal. The seafood tomyum soup was a flavorful journey into Thai cuisine, with a balanced mix of spiciness and tanginess.

The menu had more to offer, with highlights including the crispy deep-fried oysters, the inventive eggplant dish, and the flavorful Korean fried chicken. Each item showcased the chefs’ skill and creativity.

For dessert, the creme brûlée was a sweet and creamy masterpiece, with a satisfying contrast of a crackling sugar crust. The flavors were simply divine.

The chefs (Dan, Yang and Gbetz) demonstrated their passion and knowledge by explaining each dish, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. The service staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and valued.

To top it all off, the restaurant's stunning outdoor setting provided an amazing view that enhanced the entire experience. We left with a deep appreciation for the culinary excellence and overall ambiance.

In sum, our dining experience was a genuine pleasure. The delicious food, attentive service, and captivating environment made for a memorable evening. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return and enjoy another wonderful meal.

The eggplant was amazing. Sauce goes well with the brisket. Pork buns also a winner. The papaya salad was refreshing. Generous portions made to share with friends.

The most outstanding flavorsome dishes and best place by far to enjoy tasty shared dishes at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, not alone Port Douglas. Thanks to the head chef, sous chefs and staff for looking after us. We will see you again when staying at Port Douglas no doubt about that. Thanks for making our last couple of nights spent in Port Douglas enjoyable! 🤗😋😎

The food here is amazing with such unique flavours! We kept coming back to try different dishes while staying at the Sheraton resort. We tried the tiger prawns, pork roll-ons, broccolini, and the crispy eggplants. For breakfast we had the cheeky pork bun and torched banana crepe.

I’ll admit that expectations for a poolside restaurant at a resort were not high…but Lagoon House surprised me with innovative dishes designed for sharing. This riff on a Peking Duck is made instead with a crispy pork hock. You’ve got the crunchy skin, fork tender pork, umami from the kimchi…it’s all there in one bite. Five Stars for this new restaurant on the scene.

A lovely setting close to the Mirage pool complex. Not a huge menu selection, with a range of very high end dishes. The Nasi Goreng was extremely spicy 🌶 but extremely delicious! The scrambled eggs were amazing - with the kids eating them in the top eggs they have eaten.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars and I wish I had my phone for this dinner to take pictures, but I left it in the room. This was a fabulous meal! The chefs are excellent as well as the servers. We tried several dishes and they generously gave us the calamari which was to die for! We tried the Betel leaf with Baramundi, the yellow tail sashimi, a curry trout which had the most amazing curry, and an excellent special Philippine egg dish .

Delicious!! The Lagoon House was the only good restaurant at the Sheraton! We stayed three nights at the Sheraton and we were quite disappointed in the food UNTIL we dined at the Lagoon House, which turned around our experience!

We sat at the bar seats watching the action (we recommend) the chef gave us two complimentary dishes (rice and the delicious eggplant dish - eggplant was amazing! Must get!) we ordered majority of the signature dishes being betal barramundi, beef brisket with kimchi, broccolini, charcoal chicken and also the special; being pork belly with the asian slaw, which was delicious!! All of it was so amazing. I highly recommend all the above dishes.

We just had our dinner here and it was obviously delicious. Must try the eggplant, squid and of course, the Sisig. Kudos to the entire team - chefs and staffs for their lovely service. Definitely, we'll be back :)

Had the brisket and DIY roll ups both were so good! Chef was great too, gave us some egg fried rice and fried eggplant to go with it for free which was a lovely touch.

Have been here three times in the past month for dinner - the 'feed me' menu is thoroughly enjoyable as were the drinks and staff! Fast becoming my favourite restaurant in PD - the eggplant and Pandan brulee are musts!

The food and the service was first class. The squid and the eggplant was the best we have ever had. The chef Daniel and his team are outstanding. Thank you all very much

What a delicious surprise….low expectations but we have had 2 amazing dinners here this week. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the papaya salad, calamari, duck noodles and the pork hock dish is to die for. The kids (10 & 12) had the butter chicken curry with rice and roti twice and they were very happy. The ice cream bao buns were a hit with all of us. Also lovely to sit outside and listen to the ocean.

A night out with the girls was made even more fabulous with a great backdrop, great service and an amazing array of food. We had the eggplant, Korean chicken, papaya salad, pork rolls, brocolini, BBQ chicken skewers and drinks. Everything was delicious. Thank you to the wonderful chefs and lovely wait staff for a great evening.

We just had dinner here and it was absolutely delicious!! The best we’ve had in Port Douglas- fresh and cooked to perfection. The kids were well taken care of too and the service was next level. Looking forward to our next experience here, thanks so much team. For dessert- Make sure to try the ice cream bao!!

I’m a local and decided to drop in for breakfast during my walk on Four Mile Beach. It was a delicious surprise as I’d heard about the Asian-inspired menu but didn’t expect to taste the one of the best Nasi Goreng I have ever had. Loved the mango smoothie too. I’ll be back. 5⭐

We had an absolutely incredible dinner here this weekend - the menu and drinks selection is amazing and located in such a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend! Perfect for both larger groups and smaller more intimate dinners.

Beautiful spot for dinner, very resort vibe. Food packed with flavour, the children loved the butter chicken and egg fried rice.
The brisket and broccolini were stand out.
