The best breakfast in Port! Service just wonderful and welcoming .Lovely girls with beautiful smiles. Very delicious and finely crafted generous portions by the chefs. Great coffee and atmosphere. Love your pick in music as well! :) Perfect location and place to start our day in paradise ✨

We came here our first day in port Douglas and wow we were not disappointed! In fact we liked it so much we came back the next day with more members of our family! Lovely setting overlooking the marina and honestly the coffee easily rivalled anything we can get in Melbourne. Breakfast itself was lovely, service was very quick and all the staff super friendly. If your in the area definitely check this place out

The best place to be for a breakfast or Coffee. I made Holiday on the Eastcoast and because my Tour got delayed is was looking for a breakfast. I came to Choo Choos and i had my best Breakfast i ever had. Very nice and relaxed Place with a good View over the Marina, the personal is also Reading every wishes from your lips and the Food is absolutly amazing. That B.A.L.T Sandwich crashed my mind then a good Coffee or Juice it is a pleasure. And Fellas if you go there don’t forget to take a Milkshake with you it’s the best!

Lovely place to have a nice breakfast. Nice mood and good views. Lovely staff. All had smiles when they spoke to us. The meals were great. I had standard bacon and eggs and my wife had eggs Florentine with salmon. The serves were generous. The coffee was good and the fresh juice was delicious.

Every time I visit Port Douglas I have to come to Choo Choo's for lunch. The food is so yummy 😋
Today I had the Trio of Prawns, which consisted of prawn dumplings, prawn spring rolls and fresh prawns. The salad which accompanied it was delicious and I also ordered a watermelon mojito 🍹I definitely recommend 👌 😋

Sorry for the photo of my mostly consumed chilli eggs but they were so good I just couldn't stop. If you don't like heat they may not be for you but if you're the medium heat curry guy then do not miss these. Every element on the plate is packed with its own unique flavour. Even the pickled cucumber is spectacular. Coffee is bold and smooth.
Choo Choos is definitely a don't miss for breakfast at the Port.

This is definitely the place to go for Breakfast or lunch with a simple bout delicious menu on offer.

I have been there for lunch and breakfast.

Breakfast was delicious as I had the smashed avocado on toast and added two poached eggs. Tasty and delicious.

Lunch was awesome as I ordered the Angus burger but had some of the calamari and the taco’s.

The Burger I requested at medium rare and it was rather nice. The texture of the patty suggested to me it’s freshly ground meat but not sure of the mix ratio.

The Calamai pieces were large, like chicken tenders. They were delicious with a nice coating and cooked to perfection!!!

The Fish Tacos had plenty of fish in them balanced with a nice salsa. They are large and served as 3 tacos, so you could share it quite easily.

Ahhh and the cocktails were just as equally delicious! From the Adult Latte to the classic Margarita.

This is a MUST visit joint for food and drink when in Port Douglas.

A nice walk through the Marine Centre from the town to Choo Choos so called as it was the end of the sugar cane line when PD was the port of choice. Now a lovely restaurant nestled into the corner of the mariner. The staff were attentive and very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. I had the Eggs Benny with Tassie smoked salmon and Jodie had the scrambled eggs(3 eggs), grilled tomato, wilted spinach. The coffees came out quickly and were on point. Ask for a table facing the Marine as it has the most interesting view but the entire restaurant has views across the marine. If it wasn’t our last day we would be back for sure👍

Breakfast was delicious! I had the eggs Benny and it's one of the best I've had. We did wait a little but this was due to someone being trained which is understandable. Everyone has to learn somehow

I ate here on two occasions, breakfast and lunch were both amazing with the fish taco’s being the stand out dish! Great location, decor and fabulous staff. Also excellent coffee for dine in and take away!

We stopped in for breakfast and they had a great choice of food and juices aswell. Coffee was great along with the service. They also have a small train with carriages you can sit in to eat at.

Best Breakfast location in Port Douglas. Quiet, relaxing and with magical Marina and Mountain views. Coffee is exceptional, staff are super friendly and the Chefs nail it! Beautifully presented food with a colour flare that light up the eyes and wake up the senses. Awesome place that wont disappoint! Well done guys!
