Wow! This place is the best. It has everything you need for your beloved 4 legged, slithering, tweeting, swimming friends! It even has a dog wash! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help. It deserves 10 stars! My son never comes shopping with me unless I go there.

I drive a fair distance just to come here! The best independent pet store on the GC. Staff are actually very knowledgeable and there’s always good deals in store. Always stock Forage bird seed as it’s the only brand mine will touch. Never get sick of wandering the store and seeing new things they have!

Shane and the other staff have been amazing helping me and my family set up our turtle tank. I absolutely can't recommend them highly enough! I've never felt so at ease asking what may seem to most, silly questions. Their helpfulness and knowledge are second to none! Thanks so much for all your help If you get to read this.

Amazing team that are always polite and friendly, and happy to answer any questions. They have a great range of products for all your pet needs. The store is always clean and tidy and well stocked. A great spot for all your pet needs!

What an awesome place. The range of dog, cat, bird and small rodent supplies and accessories is very diverse and all very affordable.
The staff are VERY knowledgeable and more than happy to share advice and knowledge. What also spun me out was the reptile and arachnic accessories, supplies and creatures also available. Watching a staff member feed a baby python was a highlight for sure.
What I primarily visited for was for fish and aquarium supplies and I was in for a wonderful surprise. The range of fish available is awesome. There are of course goldfish but also tropical, and cichlid varieties. There was also some exotic species available which was cool. The aquarium plant variety was excellent and were all healthy and vibrant.
A great place to go if you have pets as they have so much to offer and at prices that will suit every budget.

After being told by Petsmart that it was cruel to put a fighting fish in a big bowl, and they refused to sell us one, we went here. Bought the most beautiful fighting fish "Spinizo" he loves his bowl and is well fed and cared for.

This place is amazing I have to disagree with one post on here.The store was clean not to many birds in the cages some people like to complain honestly my daughter got this beautiful baby budgie named her Cleo and so friendly staff there I will be in there definitely getting another budgie.

The staffs are wonderful. I would like to contribute a big thank you to the manager name Ty in aquarium section. He goes out of his way to help customers. He is so passionate and knowledgeable on all fishes has supported me so much. His kind and caring nature makes him the perfect man to take care of fishes and hobbiers
Having received this kind of service from Ty and some other staff makes me want to return to the same place to shop

Fantastic service. Went in there on looking for everything for our new puppy. Not only did I get everything I needed, but the shop assistant was very knowledgeable and spent quite a bit of time assisting me on everything from food, enclosures, flea treatments, toys, collars and leads even to shampoo. As I hadn't had a puppy for 13 and a half years, she explained everything and gave me some great advice, things I hadn't considered with my last dog. I will drive past the other big chain store (even though they are closer) to get to this store in the future.

Staff helped us pick and fit a lead, harness and collar for our newly adopted dog. Couldn't have had better service!

Great service and helpful advise. I was looking for sphynx cat bodywash/shampoo - when I was greeted by an extremely helpful lady at Gold Coast Pet Centre, she was immediately able to recommend a great product. Thank you again!

This is the shop for pet lovers! Accessories and equipment galore. Bought a few fish from the aquarium section from little ones to exotic. Had a few hiccups but thanks to Dale and Ty the new guy who helped me all the way to help my fish to be in perfect condition. Specially Ty who is so passionate to help with my fish handling dealing with fish diseases.
I would recommend this shop to everyone into fish....

Been dealing with the owner for years, great bloke, and now we have Dale, he looks after us every-time we do business in the store. One of the best on the Gold Coast, and I’ve been to a few, come check them out, even if it’s a bit of a drive for you! Same size as Petbarn, but an independent!

The gentleman named Ty was very helpful and knowledgeable with the aquatic life. He really helped me out.

Looks like a good pet store, all their reptiles looked very healthy and the enclosures were all correctly setup. Got some treats for the doggies and our snake 🐍

Great staff very friendly and helpful. The prices are fair. Products are easy to find and of they don't have it they will order it in for you. Very good selection of animals. each department has a specific person who knows about the specific area so if you need advice they can help. I would say the this is one of the best pet stores on the Gold coast.
