Shiraz - Best Persian Restaurant + Bar

Followed the reviews and was amazed by the results. Delicious food, we had a banquet and could not finish any of the plates, having only breakfast that day we were very hungry which didn't help as the portions are super generous. All other quests were leaving with bags to finish at home. Happy to have yummy leftovers for lunch today.
Family friendly with lots of seating inside and out

I would maybe suggest some entertainment on weekends as we usually experience in Persian restaurants. Even without that we would be back again,

The food was full of flavor. The atmosphere was very nice, lovely decor as well. The service was wonderful, patient, and had great suggestions. Julian was our server and he was so friendly. The Persian tea with saffron sugar, unique and delicious. The Persian orange cake was especially delicious, and the perfect texture. Highly recommend!

Great service and food. We often have Persian food at home, so it was nice to eat at a restaurant with good food quality and variety of dishes. We ordered Persian Feast Banquet ($79 per person , min 4 ppl) , Ash & Jo soup - everything was delicious. Ash and Persian tea were the highlights of my dinner. Service was great. I loved seeing Shiraz’s multicultural team 😊. Overall we had a great experience, thank you all!

Such delicious food and extremely large serving sizes!! We could have easily shared the ‘standard’ size meal with its very generous portions of meat, delicious rice and side condiments.
The service was good and all staff were welcoming. Decor and ambience was smart, casual and very relaxing.
Prices were very good especially considering quantity and quality of food provided.
I would definitely recommend and we will return as I really want to try the delicious desserts (but just couldn’t fit it in this time around!)

We're visiting the Goldy for work and a group of us went out for dinner. Food was delicious and super fresh. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Place was very busy. Definitely go back again

The most awesome dinner. Best food on gold coast. We received a warm welcome and free parking. Amazing atmosphere. These guys are next level w food taste. Biggest issue I had was to protect my doggy bag fridge left overs from the cheeky family morning after! Generous portions meant delicious lunch the next day with a red wine. Blessings to you all

Amazing food and service . On the contrary of some negative reviews about small portions and high prices , I really enjoyed the atmosphere, super friendly service , HUGE portion of food that I as a +100kg man couldn't finish my plate and it rarely happens when I go to a Persian restaurant. Tender juicy koobideh is my recommendation and 1 skewer is more than enough for a hunger game. Highly recommended as the best Persian restaurant in Gold Coast 👍🏻.

Great service and shared the $80 pp banquet between four people. Highly recommend.
They bring out a tray for entree, main and dessert - Main is the picture.

The bathroom is a mission to get to, will be fine for mobility issues but it is a decent walk.

Wow! I’ve been a regular at Shiraz for 9 years (when still back at Surfers) and have always been impressed. Apart from the short period when bedding in the new location (current place), the food has always been great. Having been away for most of 2023, this is my first time back in 12 months and I’m blown away. The menu has improved remarkably, and the quality has too! Yes, prices are higher but the value for money has improved in my opinion. The atmosphere, menu, drinks and staff are extraordinary. Special call out to our server, Isa from Brasil. She was wonderful. Well done, Shiraz! You remain my favourite restaurant in the Gold Coast.

Second time in - and the quality of food and service is still amazing! All staff were lovely and accommodating to swap rice to pita.
Tried the baklava with tea and it was the cherry on top!

We ordered the Meatarian (good for 2) and the Shiraz platter. Our party of 3 didnt need entrees as these two platters filled us up!

We dined in on Tuesday night without a booking and they were able to accomodate us.

We shared the Soltan platter between two people, but to be honest if you’re not big eaters you could even share it between 3 people!

Everything was really delicious (including the cocktail) and we can’t wait to come back.

We also ordered a takeaway meal and had a little mishap, however we let the restaurant know and they promptly resolved the issue.

An excellent family evening out. Heaps of beautiful meals on the menu to choose from very reasonably priced for the quantity and quality. The staff are very polite and attentive and the atmosphere trendy, cultural and inviting. Most of all the food is sumptuous and beautifully presented and uniquely Persian.

Wow. 10/10. The best food we ate at the Gold Coast. One of the best middle eastern foods I've ever eaten. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful evening at Shiraz - great cocktails, delicious and generous meals, and extremely accommodating and attentive waitstaff! Particular shoutout to Devansh, who was our main waiter - very courteous and helpful, and he made our experience even better. We’ve been to Shiraz three times, and can highly recommend it!

This was one of the best mediterranean restaurants I've been to, I had minimal wait time despite visiting during the holidays and the seating arrangement is pretty good. We got the shahi kebab and this came with 2 separate skewers of kebabs (lamb and chicken) with rice. The food tasted delicious and the portion sizes were more than generous. Prices can be a little bit on the higher side but I find it reasonable for the portion size and overall quality. Highly recommend visiting this place if you are in the gold coast

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shiraz Persian restaurant in GC , and it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and authentic, with beautiful decor and soft lighting. The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who made me feel welcome and comfortable.

But the real star of the show was the food. Every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared.

The Ash Reshte (Soup) was a highlight, delicious and tasty.
The Zeytoon Parvarde (Marinated Olives) is a must to try as a side dish with your food.

The main dishes were even better, Torsh Kebab was perfectly cooked Saffron rice that was fragrant and full of spices. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food.

There were heaps of vegetarian options which was amazing. I alas tried the Vegan Ghorme Sabzi (herbs stew with beans) which was tasty.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Persian cuisine.

The food is exceptional, the service is outstanding, and the ambiance is perfect for a special night out or a dinner with friends.

I had an incredible dining experience at Shiraz, the Persian restaurant in Brisbane. The food was truly amazing, and the kebabs were a standout. They were cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. The dessert, especially the baklawa, was a sweet delight that left a lasting impression. My husband and I came here on a Wednesday for lunch. They have some great weekly specials and Wednesday was $15 cocktails! I enjoyed a Dragon Fruit Cocktail which was visually appealing and tasted great. There is an extensive menu to suit all types of dietary requirements. As an entree we shared the Mezze Platter. This included four different dips with Turkish Bread and Persian flat bread. As a main we shared a Soltan Platter. This was 3 different skewers. Grilled prawns, minced lamb and chicken. It was served with a variety of rices. All the food was colourful, tasty and ‘fresh’. It left us feeling like we had an amazing healthy meal. The staff were friendly and attentive. There is on street parking or parking available under the restaurant in the Mantra Wings Hotel. We will definitely be back and I have recommended this restaurant to our family and friends!

Omg the food was sooo delicious, huge portions too, I think we took as much home as we ate for the 2 person menu! Everything was so tasty They even decorated the dessert plate for my birthday! 🥰 Our server Devansh was an absolute angel, really attentive, one of the best waiters I've had the pleasure of meeting Inna long time. He was also great dealing with my celiac needs, double checked everything with patience and grace, glad to see loads of gluten free options. Some atmospheric live music, dim but clear lighting, clean, comfortable. Drink took a while to come out, but the cherry Shiraz cocktail is absolutely delish. Very happy with our experience, we will be back!
