Hard Grind Cafe

We were bracing ourselves to return here knowing it was under new management and thankfully it didn't disappoint. Staff were very friendly, food came out fast (to be fair, we were the only ones there!) and it was very tasty - especially considering the fair price.

I must admit we selected this place on the reviews but when we seen it in person we were a bit hesitant to walk in as it didn’t look too appealing. However we were totally the wrong. We ordered a latte and a double shot iced coffee and both were very smooth and not bitter. For meals I ordered the truffled messed and it was unreal.
Would definitely come back for that. The other meal we ordered was nothing flash so recommend you get the truffle messes.

My wife and I had a delightful breakfast here with the pancakes, the breakfast special, an iced mocha and a latte. All were presented well and tasted great! I would definitely return. Only slight downside was there were only two people working which made it take a bit of time to get our food, so not the ideal place if you’re in a rush.

Nice little café tucked away in Margaret Avenue, just around the corner from Broadbeach South light rail stop.

Pleasant inside, with plenty of seating.

Outside seating, near the tennis court, gets the late morning sun. Very peaceful, away from the Gold Coast Highway.

The coffee was very good as well. And very friendly staff 👍

We came here again after a long time. Came to know about the new management and to our surprise we thoroughly enjoyed the friendly and efficient service rendered by the staff. In addition, the food was absolutely superb. Menu has lots of options to choose from and caters to all age group. All in all, we were most grateful for a lovely brunch

We got the $10 breakfast special and wow it was beautiful, the flavors were great, presentation was great and didn't have to wait long at all. Smoothies were the best I've had yet. And the staff were lovely. Will be back for sure.

Wanting to find a last minute breakfast spot we came to this place not knowing what to expect. This is such a lovely cafe. The staff, James and Kayla were very friendly and welcoming. The food is great and the coffees were delicious! To top things off it was all so affordable. Will definitely be back and highly recommend you give it a try!

I finally found a place with served coffee as good as Melbourne. The place is a jem. Loved the service and their breakfast menu specifically the avacado toast 😋

I had the best breakfasts here ever!!! And they were so reasonably priced!

Staff are really friendly. Nice atmosphere and my kids loved the cute lizards in the outside area.

We absolutely loved this place. We stayed at Ocean Pacific Resort and had breakfast here everyday. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The owners were so friendly and you can tell the staff really enjoyed working there. Such a treat. A hidden gem. Highly recommend you visit.

Best breakies and really well priced compared to other cafes around Broadbeach.
Been here a few times and coffees are ahmazing, and super generous sizes on drinks and food, I have never been able to finish my plate!

This Place is amazing for food coffee and the are really nice. They sometimes come and sit down with me and my family when we go there for a cuppa and some food. Amazing service and comes out really quickly
