Easy kid and dog friendly walk.🐕🐾🐩🦮👧👶🧑‍🧒‍🧒🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒
Lovely viewing from the many tiny iron bridges along the walk. Lovely waterfalls and trees with fairly flat path.
There is one section of stairs which are a bit of a challenge but okay with a few rests.
Lots of kids and dogs along the path. Small dogs may need to be carried over the bridges due to the metal pattern on bridges as there are small holes that tiny paws could get stuck in.
Great walk and top it off with lunch at the Conservation Hut.

This is a very pleasant and enjoyable path which visitors can go from Wentworth Falls Town Centre/train station to the Wentworth tracks/walks. Until early May 2024, Charles Darwin walk (part of the Grand Cliff Top walk) was closed between Fletcher Street and Weeping Rock. Bush walkers/visitors will take detours to Falls Rd by following directions to get to Wentworth Falls tracks/walks.

A walk that will suit all ages and fitness levels. Breathtaking views and beautiful little coves to explore along the way. Our 2 and 3 year olds were able to walk most of the way, with only a little assistance needed down steep and at times slippery stairs. A playground and toilet facilities are located at the beginning of the track witch is perfect for a post walk picnic. Perfect day out for an ative family. Reccomended 😊

It was beautifu! Pleasant sun, but the perfect amount of shade. Not too busy but so serene! It was so love following the creek down till weeping rock waterfall! Just stunning. And then to finish with the views at Fletcher's and Jamison lookout!
The only thing that ruined this tranquility were these giant white plastic bags that were sitting in the water, near the town end of the track. Quite horrendous actually, and a shame

The Darwin walk hike itself was an easy hike to Wentworth falls. Well marked trail and maintained. Awesome to walk the same path as Charles Darwin and a must if you are a student of Anthropology. Now if you want get adventurous! We started on the Darwin trail 1~2hrs, connected to the partial closed national pass trail 1~2hrs and then to Wentworth falls trail 4~5hrs, finishing at the Wentworth observation deck. Pass by several waterfalls, amazing scenic views of the blue mountains. Definitely worth it if you're an avid hiker!! Warning- the bus stop outside observation stops early so start early to catch the bus back into town for a much needed coffee and lunch lol.

Beautiful trail opening into the Blue Mountains national park, offering some different terrain and scenery compared to the cliff walks, and not a very busy route (unlike The Three Sisters entrance). Great way to introduce yourself to the park off an easy trail, which leads into harder and longer trails if desired.

I loved this place! I spent around 3 hours go and back at wentworth fall station. It is easy to access by transportation and spend the half day perfectly. The beauty of Wentworth water fall is Majestic!

It’s 2 hours walk to return the entrance and the footpath is mostly flat so good walk for kids and family.
I went there in Autumn season, all view was really beautiful and felt nature feeling that we can not feel in Sydney area.
Make sure you will bring snacks and water as there is no shops on the way.

Good views and waterfalls. After 2 hrs walking, you can choose to hike for another 4-5 hrs (!!) through National Pass or go back. Good for summer as you walk mostly under the shade.

An easy but fulfilling walk for most ages. We went with ages from 4 to 70+ and everyone loved it. Dogs can also go most of the way to Wentworth Falls. There's a couple of ricketty boards so watch where you're going!

An historic walking track leading to the Wentworth Falls, some beautiful scenery along the way, not wheelchair accessible. There's a public toilet block in the park at the entrance open from 7am to 5pm.

Beautiful walk to Wentworth waterfall. Enjoy natural and little lizards, not only little 🙈. You can find there orchid Caladenia. Most are Australian and 136 species occur in Western Australia.

Three adults and three kids (8, 5, 5). Walk was relatively easy for all and just as enjoyable. Kids were tired by there end but will worth the effort.

Very nice and easy walk on clear path and boardwalks. All fairly flat and dog friendly ... up until the National Park sign.
