The best in his field, the most wonderful caring Dr, a professional Dr who cares about his patients, I have been seen by Hilton Francis for over 10 years. He diagnosed a problem I had when 5 other Drs could not, he just ran his hand down my spine and gave me a script after 3 months of agonizing pain where I could not get of the lounge crying in pain Dr Hilton Francis diagnosed me in 5 minutes.
Thank you so much for all the care you have given to me in the last 10 or more years, you are the best

If i could i would have given zero stars for this practitioner, this person has what we call God syndrome.
He states that he knows how a patient thinks and feels, he has defamed and lied about this patient!! He even questioned the extent of the patients disability without seeing the patient in question!!
Please tell me how a Doctor can give a diagnosis of a patient they have never met, talked to or consulted with?
Most importantly this practioner has never asked in the six years he has remotely triaged this patient at Burnie NWRH hospital for full medical history, including scans and previous history from previous Doctors, Surgeons, and pain specialists!! The biggest worry is that he has never seen or met with this patient, and has not even spoken to the patients G.P. yet still gives an inaccurate diagnosis again and again to the Burnie NWRH and other organisations leading to mismanagement of the chronic spinal degeneration condition at Burnie NWRH which has led to inaccurate medical/hospital records that follow you for life! This has contributed to other medical issues occuring, that they also ignore!. I would also note that this patient have never asked Dr Hilton Francis for his medical assumptions/opinions, he just keeps giving them which is negatively influencing outcomes with other medical practitioners and Hospitals.
I just read Christina giannaros review on Hilton Francis, and I concur entirely with her opinion on Dr Hilton Francis.
Dr Hilton Francis should not be practising in such a biased and negligent manner.
Dr Hilton Francis has defamed, lied, and reiterated the lies numerous times about this patient, and his fellow practioners both senior and junior accept eveything Dr Hilton Francis says. Even the new acting director of medical services and the ED director Of Burnie NWRH ask no questions to the accuracy of the provided information from Dr Hilton francis, even to the detriment of a patients health at the Burnie NWRH. These lies about this patient have even influenced the PSB to refuse Authorisation for all scripts from the Burnie NWRH for "ANY" presentation even those unrelated to the patients spinal condition, eg. refusal of an anti nausea medication script after admission for Metabolic Acidosis from the Burnie NWRH pharmacy.
This is the outcome from Dr Hilton Francis' continued arrogance, and his continued lack of ability to listen to and research a patients past thoroughly!!!
I would love to talk to you Christina to compare notes.

I was extremely disappointed by my experience with Dr Hilton although did pick up on some things no other dr had. Initially I understood his wanting to view my scans without seeing past reports initially 'with an unbiased head' Then I read his report stating I did not have early onset osteoarthritis and many other incorrect facts. If he had taken the time to actually ask his patient about their experience I could have told him I woke up at the age of 31 unable to get out of bed due to a collapsed disc after complaining to my dr for 3 yrs of neck pain and being sent to a physiotherapist repeatedly, and shown him the report from 21 yrs ago, luckily I got a copy. My x ray showed longstanding osteoarthritis in my cervical spine, so since my 20s. If that is not early onset osteo then I am not sure what is. He also failed to ask me pertinent questions about my family history with a particular condition and many other things he dismissed and did not study in depth or question me about. It seems Dr Hilton is polarising for patients in his reviews. Thankfully I have finally found a rheumatologist who has listened to me and reviewed all of my medical reports in depth and confirmed my condition with further tests discussion and examination. We should not be at the whims of dismissive drs who do not listen but are determined in shaping information to fit their own snap diagnosis, in this case it seemed to such an extent it was disturbing. Patients should not have to fight and justify to drs, if communication had been good from the outset then such a poor outcome would not have occurred. It is tough enough dealing with daily pain and disability to then encounter drs who try to deny a diagnosis when it is clear they do not have extensive experience or training in a complex condition they are trying to dismiss or won't read reports that suggest a particular condition is present. Please look a little harder if you ever encounter a patient with one of the suspected 13 types of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Dr Francis, we are not just bendy joints and stretchy skin but a multisytemic syndrome with so many presentations, only a full picture of function of every system in the body can reveal EDS in all it's variations. No wonder our diagnosis average is 10+yrs or much much more, we have to get through a lot of drs to find one who really sees. We really deserve better care and faster diagnosis and reduced egos in specialists. You are only humans too. My favourite dr is one who can admit 'I don't know' or I'm not sure' but lets try to work it out and get you some help and answers.

He is a very good Rheumatoid Arthritis specialist but he is useless at Pain Management. And he has not seen me as a patient, so how can he tell pain management he will not see me.

You're in charge of the pain clinic at the royal.
What a bloody joke that place is.
Thanks to it I'm now making the choice to go down the road of strong prescription painkillers.
I go in for an appointment they say I don't have D.I.S.H.
Nearly a fortnight later.
Oh you do have D.I.S.H.
