Losing a car and trying to replace it just before Christmas is a nightmare, and even worst, with a car in high demand and low availability. This all changed when I dealt with Nathan from Carbar. Nathans prompt, professional and moreover hassle free help, secured me a car (exactly the type and colour) in no time at all. He contacted me late afternoon Friday and by lunchtime Monday I’d paid the deposit and secured my new car, and was now stress free. I was also dealing with another broker of which, next to Carbar, was like chalk and cheese. In short, I couldn’t recommend him highly enough and will most definitely be singing his praises for months to come. If in the market for a new car, Nathan is definitely your man. To you Nathan, you’re a gentleman and a scholar and hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

I can’t thank Janelye enough. Her service and keeping me informed every step of the way was extremely reassuring amongst the hoops and hurdles I had to jump through and over during the whole process. Losing my 10th old luxury car was heartbreaking enough but then trying to replace it with the same car was a nightmare as my particular 2 wheel drive spec was discontinued in 2023 so I needed to upgrade to an all wheel drive which made the process alot more complex but thanks to Janelye, we were able to get it across the line after weeks of back and fourth. I really felt she was working for me and not against me and she followed it through every step of the way until the desired end result in obtaining my replacement vehicle. On a personal level, Janelye was just a pleasure to deal with. Thank you to Janelye and the team at Carbar for all of your assistance.

Carbar was extremely helpfull at finding a replacement vehicle for us after our car was deemed a write-off by the insurer (no fault to us). In less than a week they managed to get quotes for replacement and found a car that matched the specs of our totalled car. This was difficult due to model spec changes. I had a winge to the consultant from my insurer, about being out of pocket some $50,000 after I got a payout. He asked if I would consider a late model 2nd hand car, my response was it would have to be good, with most of, or all the gear on mine. He put me on to carbar and as he said within the hour I was contacted. 20 mins later found a car on the net. Test drove it 2 days later 5 days later drove it home. I have to say that carbar was very supportive listened to what I wanted pointed me in the right direction. It was fast efficient and on the money very happy with the result.

I was going to stay in Australia several months and thought that there had to be a service that sits somewhere between a full car ownership and car hire. That is how I came across Carbar, a car subscription service. Their reviews were favourably.

I filled out an application form for subscription on my iPad one Sunday afternoon. It was straight forward. I got notified on Tuesday that my application was successful. By Thursday, my car was confirmed and by next Monday, my car was delivered home.

It was that easy.

Returning the car three months later was the same. Easy.

Carbar is an attractive proposition to consumers. Good selection of cars. Simple process. All inclusive, reasonable price (much better than car hire). Fantastic customer service.

I was dealing with a person called Nathan, absolute champion, highly recommend this service. Was very easy to speak to and he did all the hard work for me. 5 star.

Our three weeks old new car was assessed as a total write-off after a crash caused by the other party. We thought we would have to wait up to nine months for a replacement (similar to our purchase time) but no, Janelye from Carbar Autos was on the phone to us within an hour of approval to replace from our insurer.

After confirming all the vehicle requirement details, etc,. she said she would go out for quotes and call me the next week. Within a couple of hours she phoned to say she has located an exact replacement from the same dealer we bought ours. She advised it will be ready for delivery within 2-3 weeks. Wow,. much better than we had anticipated and faster than if I had to source one myself. Excellent work by Janelye. Just hoping now everything goes to plan.

I’ve recently gone through hell and back and over a 4 week period of dealing with insurance to get back in the road, Janelye at Carbar replacements has been the light at the end of the tunnel. Purchased a vehicle through George who was incredibly accomodating, professional and courteous. George went out of his way to ensure that the process was smooth and took care of things beyond his need to do so, like ensuring that my custom plates were transferred to the new vehicle on my behalf (ordinarily something the buyer has to arrange). George was never pushy, just very accomodating and courteous and I have a great deal of respect and appreciation for the manner in which he conducted himself.
